“Mimo has easily become our favorite Italian dining experience. From the moment we walked in to our reservation we were greeted with a smile, true professionals. Our server went above and beyond, offered recommendations and really took care of us. The food was impeccable you can taste the quality of the made from scratch dishes, and the portions were perfect. We sat in the patio on a beautiful Sunday evening we shared a few appetizers including Fritters, the crochette, my daughter had the gnocchi, and my wife and I shared the costasa (ribeye). Everything was delicious, thank you to the kind staff at Mimo.“

“We came on a Saturday evening and they were quick to seat us. We started with Caesar salads. I have to say those are some of the best croutons I’ve ever had. Idk if they are made fresh, but they sure taste that way. We love pizza so we had to try more than one. We had the Honolulu and Meat lovers. The Honolulu is delicious! The ham had a great taste I just wish the pineapple was cut in smaller pieces and not slices. The meat lovers was okay maybe because of all the meat (sausage, spicy salami and bacon) it was a bit too salty. We had the tiramisu for dessert it was delicious and creamy I loved it. Our waitress was nice and friendly but she definitely seemed overwhelmed with the amount of tables she was waiting on.“

The taste was perfect and even the single rolls were filling. The mango lassi is one of the best I’ve ever tasted with the perfect consistency.Keep up the great quality, folks!Parking tip (We struggled with this): You can park at the Lyric garage and get your parking validated if you leave within 2 hours. You will need to make sure you get a receipt from the restaurant with a QR code that you will need to scan at the parking meter. (Perhaps this is only required for weekends as we went on a weekend, not sure about weekdays).“

“I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Although his focaccia are available at Spec's, frozen, to bake at home at 450 F for 6 minutes, on Sundays, Chef Andrea prepares these exquisite Roman style pizzas from 9-2 at this location on Yale at Tidwell. And they are spectacular.“

“I ordered Zalat yesterday online, and when I showed up to the store, another person had taken the order by mistake. The store manager T hopped on it right away and made sure we had our pizza within 15 minutes. It was an honest mistake, but they took care of it anyways. The pizza was also great of course.“

Enjoyed some banging old-school hip-hop, got to play two of my favorite childhood arcade games for free... what an awesome way to spend an evening. The nostalgic decor was subtle but added to the experience - reminded me of the pizza places I grew up in 40 years ago. We'll definitely be back soon!“

“The staff is so friendly and welcoming. We got a pepperoni and the zealot pizza. Both pizza's were delicious. My son is super picky but he loved the pepperoni pizza. I think next time my husband and I may be brave enough to take on the "Reaper Roulette" sounds interesting.“

“This tiny pizzeria is incredible! The service is terrific, and the simple, but trendy decor feels comfortable and familiar. Their drink menu is also large enough to accommodate most wine, beer or cocktail tastes. The lunchtime pizzas are a thin crust flatbread style that rocks!!! They also offer a personal size pizza and salad combo that's a great smaller option. Dinner and happy hour choices include appetizers and large trasditipnal pizzas. Dishes are priced at about $14-20 and drinks are from $3 (beer) up. This is a really great neighborhood pizzeria. I'll be back!“

“Boyfriend and i decided to finally try. Even though it was slow we was still positively greeted by the manger and lady behinds the counter. We got the bone in and bone out combo with waffle fries. The sauces we tried was chipotle bbq and mild lemon pepper. Tried the food while driving and almost burnt my tongue in a good way lol. Fresh af and the flavors was delicious. We will be back to try other items and flavors.“

“On my way to an international flight, I was starving before my outbound flight. It was worth the long walk from the concourse of my flight to this one. I quickly ordered at the bar using the QR code. Then I ordered a sparkling water and the Mushroom Pizza (mushroom,button,oyster). The pizza was oven roasted and elevated my view of an airport pizza. I should not have eaten the whole pizza before my flight but I'm glad I did and I don't regret it. The pizza was tasty and addictive. The pizza size is shareable for two. “This is my all time favorite pizza place. Look, they’re not a pizza PLACE, they’re a pizza HOME. We always get the elote pizza, there’s nothing else like it. But today they were giving out free pizzas, WHOLE pizzas. My boyfriend told me about it, not realizing the pizzas they’re giving out are pepperoni. So I get there and when they tell us all the pizzas are pepperoni and see my face fall, they ask what’s wrong and I admit that I don’t eat meat. “I always loved stopping at Home Slice in Austin for a slice of NY pizza so I needed to try it in Houston! We got the Medium Margarita Pizza & a slice of White Pie. The Margarita pizza was a bit on the salty/greasy side which was a bit of a let down. The service is great! Everyone is willing to help and the servers are on their game. There is indoor seating great for date nights and outdoor seating as well. The parking is a little tough. When we got there the parking in the front was full but we were able to find a good side of the block parking.“
