“The best burgers we have ever had. Wow!!! I had the Hawaiian burger and my husband had the Mexican burger. They were huge!!! The buns are amazing, the burgers are perfectly seasoned and huge. My husband always gets a double and could barely finish a single. The Cajun fries are insanely good. I am not sure if they are hand cut or not but they taste like they are. No ketchup or anything needed. FYI You will need to wash hands and face after eating. They are messy like a good burger should be. Prices are very affordable for the amount of food you get.“

“My kids and I stopped by for lunch a few days ago. The Fridays closer to our house closed and we wanted the whiskey glazed sampler. Our server Jake was polite and attentive and was even cracking a few jokes with my boys in between checking on us and taking our order. The whiskey glazed shrimp and chicken was yummy and Jake made sure we had plenty of whiskey glaze so my kids weren’t fighting over the cup on the plate lol. We never had to ask for refills on our drinks and never had to wonder where our server Jake was. We will definitely be back!“

“If you are looking for a great burger this is it. Very friendly gentleman took and prepared my order. Had the 1/3 bacon burger, fries and some smothered corn. The burger was fresh and perfectly cooked. Better than more expensive places. The smothered fried corn was fantastic. I got the garlic parm flavor. Soo good. As others have said, not a diner in place, but that ads to this places charm.“

“Used to order here every Sunday on my way home from work. Great hotdogs and quick drive thru service. Employees even remembered me after a while and would ask about me if I missed a week. Love the cheese coneys and the sauerkraut they use for their hotdogs is excellent. Highly recommend.“

The first time I went I was probably first customer there for lunch . The food was piping hot and fresh . Tonight , same thing.. I want to say their chicken tenders are the best compared to any other fast food restaurants around . You can always tell when a owner and manager are hands on in their business. This is in fact the case for Captain D's . I am happy to have found one place that takes pride in what they are selling . Oh, and don’t forget to order your homemade lemonade, not too sweet and not too sour but just right.The 6 lbs of @ $9.99 & potatoes /corn @ $1.25 ea. was delicious & hot. You have three Flavors to chose from Cajun, garlic butter, or mix Cajun/garlic butter. Of course we tried the mix and no complaints. “This was our first time trying Hippo Burger. We ordered for curbside, and they didn't disappoint! We live like 5 minutes away, so everything was still hot by the time we made it home. We order a Bacon Cheese Burger with Cheese Fries and H Avocado Burger with grilled onions w Cajun Fries. Will definitely come back, even our pup was intrested, haha!“

“Coffee has been changed?. My parents have been going for Whataburger coffee for over 50 years. This was their favorite newer Whataburger. Today is my mom's birthday and she wanted Whataburger this morning. Very disappointed but found out they just changed it. It was very dark and strong like oil. I can adjust and add water but it was just a not so good surprise for Mom and Dad. Not sure what was the reason for the change.We love the employees who are super sweet and I must say the food was still great. My dad asked if they could get hot water next time to dilute it and the sweet employee said sure and that she was sorry. “I love their burgers. The person who took my order either misunderstood me or I didn't hear her correctly. I only wanted the burger with cheese and not the full meal. Instead she only gave me the burger without lettuce and tomatoes, so I turned around and went thru the drive thru and Informed her I wanted the burger only, but with everything on it, she happily apologized and gave me everything on it.
