I was listening to KSBJ radio and Mr. Bill, the traffic guru mentioned this place. He said it had great hamburgers. I decided to try the burger and wow, they were great! The service and atmosphere were awesome ?
Came here for the 1st time this past Tuesday after trying In and Out for the 1st time. In and out was absolutely trash, such tiny burgers! Hippo Burgers satisfied my burger craving for sure!! The cashier was very nice, made recommendations and seemed knowledgeable. When the store was slow she started cleaning instead of pulling out her phone. Very very impressive!! Been thinking about these burgers since Tuesday. Will DEFINITELY be back!!

The best burgers we have ever had. Wow!!! I had the Hawaiian burger and my husband had the Mexican burger. They were huge!!! The buns are amazing, the burgers are perfectly seasoned and huge. My husband always gets a double and could barely finish a single. The Cajun fries are insanely good. I am not sure if they are hand cut or not but they taste like they are. No ketchup or anything needed. FYI You will need to wash hands and face after eating. They are messy like a good burger...read full review
