They are always cheerful even when it's busy & they always ask if I want a pup cup if my dog is in the car. On a busy day service can take a little long, but it's always worth it.”

“To Food Management; Let me start by saying that we love the Bluebonnet Grille food and service. I recently tried the fried haddock entree (which was served only during Lent) and it was so delicious! The fish was high quality and perfectly cooked. I've asked if the fried haddock would be added to the regular menu, or at least once a week and been told it's only available to customers during that time of observance. I sincerely hope management will consider adding that entree to the regular menu as I'm certain it will bring in customers who want to enjoy and appreciate that deliciously healthy meal anytime. It will still be just as special. We really need more places nearby that serve good fish on a regular basis. Thank you in advance for your consideration.”

Especially the female owner who usually takes orders at the register. She is always accommodating and when you frequent there enough...she remembers you. Especially since my orders tend to be on the picky side.Their Spring Rolls/Egg Rolls are so good. Along with the pan friend dumplings (well my kiddos always eats the dumplings), and the beef sticks. I always get chicken and shrimp lo mein and the shrimp are a good size for me. Chicken is tasty and love the sauce. Everything taste fresh what I order.Now the one drawback is I am NOT a fan of their fried rice. But that lo mein is so yum.”

The brisket is up to par with other Texas BBQ places, nice smokiness, and fork tender, not quite fall apart tender, but it's very good. The potato salad was great, kinda tangy, works well with the creamy mayo and mustard goodness. The boudain balls are huge, the size of baseballs. The boudain was mostly rice, with a hint of liver, and I like more liver in my boudain. I'd still recommend them though. The service was good here too. No waiting in long lines. My order was out in 10 minutes. Boogie did me right. I have a minor issue with the ambience of the place. There's lots of Black Pride propaganda on the wall. Here in Texas, blacks and whites just get along together without much animosity. But Boogie is from Chicago, so I can understand why he has animosity towards whites. This doesn't detract from the fact they know what they're doing here, and if you don't mind dropping a few more dollars, it's gonna be worth it. Also, two people after me ordered turkey burgers here, so that must be a popular item. I plan and stopping by and trying one another time, just to see.”

He was so helpful and informative and never made us feel rushed. He was very attentive and gave us so much information about the different selections. We ordered the herbed feta and a bottle of red wine and they paired perfectly together. This was the best date we have ever had. The atmosphere was romantic and the food and wine were delicious. Last place I tried their cheese rolls it was more roll than cheese. This place cheese rolls were filled to the brim. The pad Thai was good as well. Some of the sweet and sour chicken was a bit soggy but that was due to the steam and how long it took to come back home. If you put them in the air fryer they become crispy again. I will definitely be back.”

I will say that if you don't like the sauce, the chicken won't wow you. With the canes sauce, it definitely stood out. Excellent service, pretty good food if you like the sauce but only gave 4 for the atmosphere hence I did not go inside.
