“The indonesian fried rice & sweet soy sauce noodles with shrimp & chicken were so delicious! I'll definitely be back. The ambiance was good too. Only thing that knocked it to 4 stars was the restroom. There wasn't a baby changing station in the women's restroom and the floor looked pretty dirty. The curry beef was ok, the texture of the beef wasn't the best, pretty chewy. The server was polite and food came out decently quick for being authentic indo cuisine.“

“We popped in for an unplanned bite with friends. We didn’t have a reservation and I highly recommend one. We were glad to be gifted one hour given our resy gaffe. Our waitress was charming and attentive. As expected, our food was high quality and delicious. While one of my favorite nigiri fishes tends to be loup de mere, the kanpachi was the winner of the hour!“

“When we arrived we were promptly greeted and seated. It did take our server to get to us a good 10 minutes before talking and telling us what the concept and food recommendations were. The setting of the restaurant is clean, and airy due to the sun room setting on one side of the restaurant. To start us off, we did some drinks that were good but did not find any favourites. The two cold starters were: Hamachi Yuzu: 2/5 because the yuzu yoghurt was overpowering and the kombu powder left a sandy grit texture on the teeth that made it almost annoying to eat. Could barely taste the hamachi. Madai Carpaccio: 1/5 because the crunchy togarashi and black sesame soy sauce enveloped the Madai and the saucy component was too strong to complement the fish. Oyster with caviar was fresh and briny. Very tasty. 5/5. Would recommend avoiding the cold starters besides the oysters and moving straight to the nigiri and hot components of the menu. From the nigiri portion, we ordered: Hotate, salmon, gizzard shad, akami, amaebi and madai. Fresh, fatty, flavoursome cuts of delicious fish. Definitely recommend, 5/5. Also, tried the Olive A5 wagyu nigiri with black truffle and it was unctuous and absolute yum! From their hot portion, we got the baby back ribs, iberico shumai, and lobster with sake miso. The baby back ribs were falling off the bone, tender and seasoned to perfection. The shumai was good with a pipette of ponzu sauce. The lobster was rich, not overcooked and the panko with the miso sake lent it a Mac and cheese-esque quality to it. Would definitely get these again. For dessert go the Japanese melon which was sweet and juicy and had none of the chemical aftertaste that is found in the fruits here in the states. The green tea kakigori was airy and light. Usually not a fan of red bean ice cream or desserts but this one came with a really nice red bean ice cream. Would have liked the portion to be more to balance out the shaved ice. Overall it was a great time! Price wise it was affordable for the amount of food we ordered.“

“Brand new restaurant. This is a quickly growing franchise out of atlanta. It is a really unique place. They have a fusion of Asian Foods including some really fun stuff like a sushi donut, Sushi corn dog and even sushi pizza! The ramen portions are large and packed full of proteins and vegetables. You will not go away hungry. The Thai iced tea is awesome as well, like an Asian Starbucks frappuccino. The food came out really fast. They have a very easy to get to location right off the Southwest Freeway highway 6 exit ramp. They also have an awesome patio which I plan to hang out on quite a bit. They are also right next to some super popular night Hangouts, Pacific Coast tacos and Spectators Bar and Grill. This will be my new favorite hangout for a while.“

“TL,DR: Some of the best sushi in the Houston area, with super creative and tasty rolls! This hidden gem sushi spot is tucked away in the corner of a strip mall in Sugar Land, TX and I’m so glad I tried it! Their sushi rolls IMO are in the upper echelon of quality for Houston sushi spots, especially when considering the relatively affordable price ($14-$16 per roll). Also, all of their rolls are plated and decorated very nicely, which definitely improves the experience as well. Will definitely be frequenting this place more often when I want sushi! Here’s what I ordered:-Suki Special Roll - shrimp tempura and cucumber topped with tuna, salmon, spicy crab, tobiko and green onion-Highway 6 Roll - unagi eel and fresh crab meat-Miu Miu Roll - fresh crab meat, tobiko fish roe, shrimp tempura, spicy mayo-Agedashi Tofu“

“Such a lovely sushi spot! It looks like a sweet older couple runs the whole show, from the kitchen and sushi station, to serving tables. They don't take orders over the phone so if you want to-go, you still have to wait your turn in person. Their menu is huge for just two people managing the entire restaurant. The sushi pieces are so big, so the rice ratio is sometimes too much but I don't mind. Their yellowtail and spicy scallop sushi were my favorites, I would definitely come back just for that. The tonkatsu rice was delicious too! The slightly crispy battered pork with egg and rice was such a comforting combination. The wait is a bit long but that didn't bother us or anyone around us. The sushi is 100% worth it!“
“Love how Neo pays attention to the smallest details to ensure a fine dining experience. The staff were attentive and respectful, Chef was knowledgeable and talented, and food was incredible. We went on 3/4/24 for the Sushi Omakase and our favorites were Masu, Madai Crudo, Maitake, and the Maguro Handroll. Highly recommend!“

“The food was very good. Nice slices of fish to rice ratio on the nigiri. The rolls were also very fresh and not much rice either which is nice. The tempura vegetables were great, fresh and fried to perfection. I was impressed with the service too. Andrea was our waitress and she was very attentive. The food came out quickly event though there were busy, we got there at 1pm on a Monday after Easter. Keep in mind Fort Bend schools were out, this definitely contributed to the crowd. The restaurant was clean and nice as normal. We will be going back.“

“I enjoyed my experience overall. The all you can eat menu has a lot of options and is totally worth the money. I wouldn’t recommend the ribs though, they are salty. The sashimi is awesome! My favorite is the pepper seared tuna. They had a 19 top table( prom kids) and still served us in a timely manner with kindness. We’ll def be back!“

“I’m writing this review a little late. I went in In December with my sister and her friends and tried their broth noodles. We each loved our own choice of soup. I got the ‘kakuni’ it has a salty taste to it which I like when paired with the noodles. My sister got the ‘Niku niku’ this has a flavorful broth. It reminded me a lot of the Vietnamese pho. When I came back with my friends after January I got the ‘mentako cream’ (I think I spelled that wrong) with katsu. I liked the cold noodles, but the noodles weren’t very filling (I could have just been really hungry). The broths were more filling and are still my favorite.“

“Super trendy and stylish restaurant with outstanding sushi! Each hand roll is made fresh when you are ready for the next roll so the seaweed will stay fresh and crispy. Each bite is flavored perfectly so can forgo the soy sauce and wasabi. Look for the hidden bar with thousands of origami cranes hanging above, such an eye-catching statement piece! We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner there!“

“This is THE place for when my girlfriends and I do Girls Night Out and birthdays! Their food is fresh, flavorful, and doesn't disappoint. The service here is generally good, but at times the food waiting time can vary-- some days it's super quick and comes out back to back, other days it comes out slow and you're waiting for your next plate.“

“We had the assorted sashimi plate which comes with 32 (?) pieces, da bomb roll, and potato and corn and crab croquettes, also some temakis. It’s definitely worth the wait time, and they are mostly busy. We went on a Monday evening and had to wait ~15 mins but it went by faster than that. All good, fish is fresh for the most part and prices are so fair. Will be back again :)“

“Iwa Ya on Bellaire Blvd hit the spot for lunch today! The atmosphere was inviting, and the service was quick and friendly. We dove into their delicious spider roll, savoring the fresh ingredients and perfect texture. The katsudon was another winner, with its crispy pork cutlet and flavorful sauce. Even the miso and corn chowder soup impressed, offering a warm and comforting start to the meal. And to top it off, the prices were reasonable! Highly recommend Iwa Ya for a satisfying and enjoyable lunch experience.“

“It's a great place if you're craving Asian-style fried foods. The fried foods here are extra crispy and look very tempting. I was here in 2021 and did not post a review then. Therefore, I came back and ordered a Combo D from Krazy, which provides a sample of most of their fried items. It takes awhile before you receive your meal because they start frying the stuff after you place your order. Surprisingly, my favorite item was their fried fish. It is crispy on the ouside and tender on the inside. The pork katsu was okay but more toward the dry side. I would pass on the fried shrimp next time because it's just too dry. Cheese Katsu, although it looks very tempting, it is just average. I would personally recommend the king pork katsu to everyone. Due to the large portion of the pork, it is more moist after deep frying. I hope they give more rice than just a small cup. Overall, it's a good restaurant with a clean environment.“

“Got the takoyaki, gyoza, and karaage for appetizers. The karaage lacked a little flavor, but the takoyaki and gyoza were great. I got the miso ramen and don't normally like miso ramen, but the flavor in this one was incredible. Loved the wooden booth inside, and the service was fast as well“

“General Description:A traditional Japanese restaurant. They have booths and a sushi bar.The space is on the smaller side. The good:- Tonkatsu Ramen: Broth was a bit different than most Japanese style ramen. I don't like fatty/heavy broth base. This one was on the lighter side.- Yellowtail sashimi was on the fresher side. The bad:- Chicken was rubbery.- Broccoli was overcooked.- Wasabi mix was watered down.Overall:Worth trying.“

“Before going to the Houston rodeo, I stopped by to park my car and get something to eat. My friend found out that this restaurant opens at 11:00am. But the shop owner welcomed us from 10:30am. The food tastes good. The shrimp tempura in particular came out really well. The food is served quickly and continuously. The atmosphere of the restaurant is comfortable and comfortable. My only complaint is that I thought the sushi was a bit small.“

“Tried this new shabu place for the first time, and it was enjoyable. Went for the AYCE lunch, which sets you back $21.99. The price is very fair, given the variety of meats that are available. Service was attentive and the food was great. You can choose and even change from several different types of soup bases, which get refilled. Children under 4 eat free. Interior of the restaurant is bright and shiny, new and modern. Plenty of seating available on weekday when I went. Friend enjoyed the included shaved ice after the meal. Will definitely come back with the family next time we are craving hotpot in the Chinatown area.“

The dragon ball roll. Every time I sink my teeth into it, pure joy washes over me. It's like a little piece of sushi heaven. Even my little one can't get enough of it.
