“Came by for lunch with wife. We shared a chicken crunch roll, had spicy tonkatsu ramen, and the wife had a spicy miso ramen. All was yummy. And the atmosphere at the time was not packed and very quiet. I will come again and would recommend to others.“

“If you have not been to the best Hibachi grill in Houston you have been missing out. I saw this place last year and stopped in. No regrets here!!! Go see Simon and spoil yourself with a Shinobi Special. You will be hooked! He takes pride in cooking and the food is fresh/hot with the taste awakening your taste buds. Yes, you will wait 15-20 minutes but it is made right then and there. No Fast Food here! It is worth the wait and the food is still hot once you get home with the good portions. Keep up the great food coming Simon! You rock!!!“

“We’ve been coming here for a while and I just wanted to leave a review to show our appreciation! We haven’t had a bad experience here. The food is consistently delicious and the service is good too! Our favorite sushi place in the area and I like to think we’re pretty picky about sushi.Kid-friendliness: Lots of options for kids - edamame, we order the yakisoba noodles, our son loves the seaweed salad and so do we!“

“Brian/Bryan the server was knowledgeable and courteous. "Monkey Brain" appetizer and the specialty tuna rolls were all excellent. Sashimi platter of barracuda, young seabream and snapper was very good. Barracuda was delicate, fantastic; the umami-heavy seabream was slightly fishy, yet good, and the snapper was most complex with a more fatty feel than the other two. Make sure to ask for the fresh wasabi. Astonishing quality for a strip-mall kind of location. Neighborhood smart-casual vibe. Highly recommended.“

“Food is amazing and fresh, not to mention the great price! Portions are normal-large scale, and the atmosphere is cozy yet has a certain food stall feel to it. Service was fast, and they didn't let your cup go empty for long. I drive 30-40 min fight traffic on I45 to get here.“

“Really nice people. They were very generous. The shrimp wonton soup was amazing!! I'd go back for that any day. The sushi was surprisingly fresh for the price. Not a huge fan of cream cheese or anything tempura, so we didnt have a lot of options, but we got the White Cox and Puppy Love rolls. Both delicious, relatively simple.“

“I arrived late to my hotel and needed a quick bite late at night and this was a pleasant surprise. I ordered the combination steak and shrimp habachi with rice. I can tell the owner takes pride in the service and the food ensuring the meal is up to your expectations.“

“????Rebel Sushi is a hidden gem in the heart of the city place! ? Our experience here was delightful, thanks in large part to our amazing waitress who also dazzled as our bartender ?. The sushi chefs truly showcased their skills, crafting each roll with precision and flair. ? The sushi itself was pretty darn good, hitting the spot just right! ? Overall, a fantastic dining experience that we'll definitely be returning for! ???One piece to note, take your time here and experience to food. Rushing is not a strong suit of this location, but with a chill attitude you’ll have an experience to remember.“

“The dishes are excellent. The flavors are outstanding. Not your typical Chinese restaurant. The portions are small, but the price of the dishes is reasonable. This is a restaurant that is a must to try if you live in The Woodlands and Spring area. This will be a regular for us as long as the quality and taste continue.“
“This was my first take-out experience with Akashi, although I've eaten lunch at the restaurant on several occasions. All previous experiences have been positive and this was not an exception. The food was very well packaged and the aroma from the stir fries and spices let me know that I was in for a tasty meal. The orange chicken was crunchy and glazed with a sweet orange sauce. It came with a side of fried rice, soup and eggroll. It was a quick, tasty, and filling meal. At $9.95 for most dishes on the lunch menu, I highly recommend Akasi for dining-in or takeout lunches.“

“We ordered the calamari and got what appeared to be a half order when we asked the waitress she told us it's because they are bigger pieces. Lol no I'm pretty sure they are all the same size. Went to take a bite and the calamari was as cold as spicy mayo. Yuck!!! Sushi should be could not your calamari. Waitress was very dismissive and didn't care about what was brought to her attention. Also we frequent this place very often and even the takeout calamari is hotter than what we got served. Do better!“

“Our first time here, and definitely will be back. Food was delicious, service from wait staff was consistent and quick. Chef met all our requests for our meal and overall a great experience. Was a little on the noisy side, and place is smaller with shorter ceilings. But definitely does not affect the overall experience.“

“The food at this restaurant is the best that my son and I have ever had, his favorite is the chicken teppanyaki and mine is the scallion fish a must have. The atmosphere is delightful with the goldfish aquarium and relaxing decor. And Jane the manager there is very welcoming and gracious, as are the servers. Shogun (on 2920) is definitely a place to come for a delicious meal with friends and family. A+“

“The restaurant was just a few minutes away, so I figured I'm out on a hunt for a new ramen and sushi spot.Service was impeccable. James took care of me start to finish, I was able to get here while it wasn't so packed, so that was a plus. I ordered the Takoyaki, the Crispy House Roll, and some Chicken Shoyu Ramen. It was out fast, hot, and tasted amazing.I'll be recommending this place to anyone needed a quick Sushi fix, or a good ole bowl of Ramen!“
