“This place is fantastic! The atmosphere is so authentic, clean and very trendy. The service is phenomenal and the food is absolutely delicious. You also definitely get your money's worth. We have 3 children (ages 11,9 and 7) and they loved the kids ramen meal and Karaage and fries. They also loved the atmosphere and decor. It was a fun place for the whole family!“

“I love the poke bowls here! I usually come in for the 3 salmon protein, white rice, seaweed and crab salad bowl. They are fairly priced and the food is delicious. The staff is extremely kind and welcoming. It's always a pleasure stopping by.“

“I didn't even know this restaurant was here, but then again, I don't come over to Wilson Road very often for lunch. It is currently 4 stars with over 300 reviews, so it must be decent. I visited for lunch, and there are some pages of the menu that are dedicated to dinner service only, like the robata, dinner entrees, and dinner bento boxes. I tried the lunch special with 1 roll (crazy roll) and 3 sushi (2 salmon and 1 mackerel) and the spicy crunchy yellowtail roll (a regular menu item) with an iced tea. The lunch roll came with 6 pieces, and the regular menu roll came with 8 pieces. Both were pretty good and seemed pretty fresh. The crazy roll has a little more rice than I typically like. The other roll is a pretty standard roll similar to most spicy tuna or spicy yellowtail rolls, but with the added crunch texture. The mackerel was the least disappointing item I ordered, but that figures. I doubt many customers in this area order that item anyway. It was not as fresh as it could have been. The salmon nigiri was better but seemed a bit off temperature. Overall, the service was fast and friendly, which was nice since I was limited on time during my lunch break. My waitress, even though it was her 2nd day of employment, was able to explain the menu well.“

“Went to Humble for a different reason but changed our lunch plans when we saw this place and decided to eat here. Had gyoza, salmon rolls, tonkotsu ramen, and spicy miso ramen. All the food was really good, except the spicy miso soup was very spicy even for me who likes spicy food. Also we like the temperature of the soup hotter. Welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff. The name "Iekei," which we were intrigued by, means "homestyle" in Japanese but we are not sure if we were right. Glad we found this place.“

“Always a favorite spot for our family to grab sushi! I especially enjoy the tuna crudo. The bento boxes are always tasty. I really appreciate when I'm in the mood for sweet and sour chicken and I order here, the chicken is cooked to perfection and not greasy. My favorite sushi roll is the cowboy.“

“I have been a long time customer of Sarku. I have read the bad reviews and I know every experience can be different but I have had only good experiences at this location. The service has always been friendly. This location is always busy and the line can get long. No matter how long the line I have never had to wait too long. The cooks have been the same ones for years now. They know how to cook the chicken just right. I have had teriyaki chicken at other places and the chicken is burnt. I have never had that issue here. I will say the prices have gone up but they have gone up everywhere so it's unfair for people to leave a bad review because they think the prices are too high. However, their portion sizes are plenty and I usually get double meat so I have enough for lunch the next day. Their drink cups are BIG so when you spend $2.50 you get alota soda vs other places with their small cups for the same price. Before covid they offered refills but that is gone. Smh. I recommend this place for some good teriyaki.“

“Would have been 5 stars were it not for the awful garbage country music that they were inexplicably blaring. Chicken was great, but ordered spicy teriyaki chicken but truly it was pretty mild. Thankfully sriracha took care of that nicely. Vegetables were crisp and perfectly cooked, yakisoba noodles were fantastic too. They need a location in Kingwood it's too darn far to drive otherwise. Really enjoyed the food and service hated the moronic country music but I would definitely recommend it.“
