“This is a really good place to try when you are ready for a little adventure! I had Banh Mi in a bowl with grilled tofu on it. I would have told you that I don't like tofu, but this was delicious!The restaurant is new, clean, plenty of parking, lovely outdoor seating behind, away from traffic, staff is friendly, knowledgeable and patient, plus you can choose from a wide selection of chilled adult beverages. Next door is a confectioner offering free chocolate tastings. Don't miss this.“

“We visited Pedernales Cellars in early April. The view is beautiful and serene. The young woman who guided us through our tasting was the perfect compliment to the view and the excellent wine we were tasting. “I took my parents here for a late Mother’s Day gift and this experience exceeded all of my expectations. Nancy S. did a great job at making us feel extremely welcome, she was very knowledgeable and was able to explain things to us in English and Spanish! (My parents are from Colombia but also speak English). We signed up for the pairing and dinning experience and she would talk to us about each wine, each dish that was being served and how wine and food complemented and transformed each other. “We ate at Leroy’s this afternoon to reconfirm what we thought first time we ate here. I’m reporting in to say that yep, it was just as good this time as our first time! We both had a taco first time: L had brisket taco and I had a pulled pork taco. Yum yum. Beans were also very good. And a peach cobbler for dessert. Delicious. Today we each had an order of street tacos. Also came with beans and a grilled pepper on the side. Another yum yum. And once again, peach cobbler…this time with ice cream. Very nice staff that checked on us several times. You can count on us, Leroy’s, as becoming regular customers!!!“

“Arrived here on a Saturday around 1pm. It was very packed, since it was graduation weekend, however we got lucky and found seating outside in the shade. We absolutely love coming to this winery, this was our fourth time here. The staff is friendly and kind, our girl Jess gave us the best tour ever. She was amazing!!!!! And knew so much and was funny and cool. We just ended up buying the wine by the bottle, which is fairly priced. They did have an event in the pavilion at 4pm for a wedding that was happening. I love coming here the wine is amazing. I love that we can bring our own snacks to make our own charcuterie board, since my friends and i are picky about our boards. I will definitely be coming back here in the cooler months!“

“Hye cider is hands down the best cider in Texas. You honestly can’t get better. It’s not overly sweet like most ciders and offers a variety of ABVs for every taste. Don’t pass them up at HEB or go in for a tasting and ask to speak to the head cider maker Nate, he’s always willing to talk shop (if he’s not busy!) and is very knowledgeable about Texas booze in general!“

“I'm visiting from NC and my friends took me to Fredericksburg for lunch and do some wine tastings! I love wine and I drive for a wine tour company. So on vacation, it's my turn to do some tastings.I wanted to stop here as I saw the Longhorn statue standing out in front.The winery is beautiful. I loved the atmosphere of the tasting room. We were welcomed as we walked it. I was hoping to do a tasting but the wines were not what I would drink, which is fine, and also I really didn't want to pay the $30 for the tasting that I most likely wouldn't enjoy.I gave them 5 stars because of the outside view of the winery, the atmosphere in the tasting room and the friendliness of the staff! I'm not going to dock them a star because of my preference for wine. To each their own!“

“Super cute spot outside of Fredericksburg, they have a brewery and a winery! A couple of us did a wine tasting and a couple of us got the beer flights. The Lager was good, the Blonde was not good, the IPA was decent and the Amber was a little too sweet. They have a good selection of different wines, dry or sweet. They have a wine tram which was soooo cute to take you from the winery to the brewery and back. A manager came over and checked on us, that was very nice.“
