“Pastries are delicious, but would skip the lattes. Live in the neighborhood so have gone numerous times and am consistently disappointed with the drinks. For $5 a drink, it should be better. Grab your delicious pastries, but make your drink at home!”

“This place is amazing. I have not been to the other locations, but my local source said this one is the best. I have never had a bad meal here. They have expanded since I was last there (both interior and exterior) and have a very large outdoor section right in front that is great for eating outdoors.Parking: Parking is paid during certain times. Check the signage to make sure you are following the rules.”

“One of the newest cocktail bars on King street!This place is super cool and has a bit of a speakeasy vibe.We only got cocktails but they were all super good and unique. One of the bartenders, Andres, who was making our drinks used to work at a Michelin star bar and really showed it.He even made us custom cocktails when asked and was very nice to talk to.The atmosphere is very cute and very Instagrammable.The only thing is you have to use wifi because the bar is underground and there's no signal but other than that will definitely be going back.”

“This was my first visit, a suggestion from my sister. I started with the crab hush puppies (delicious!). As an entree, I chose the creole shrimp fettuccini (very good). My server (Amy-excellent!) was attentive and engaging, which enhanced my overall experience. The whole atmosphere had a vibe that was very inclusive and fun. I will definitely return.”

It's a Pakistani/Indian restaurant so it has all the usual favorites and it also has Karahi. Definitely recommend trying this place out!”

They kindly seated us under the gorgeous lighting which creates a romantic atmosphere. I ordered the rigatoni which was phenomenal and quite literally melted in my mouth. The drinks were also very good. They gave us complementary mini soups, bread and a surprise dessert simply out of kindness which made my day. Thank you!!!”

I wish I could leave the other up to show how much better my second time was, but maybe that's for the best.Let me just say this: I have never been happier to be wrong about something. Truly, my most recent experience at Josephine was like night and day compared to the NYE episode.My wife and I met a friend of ours for dinner last Sunday. We were greeted immediately by the folks at the host station who showed us to our table upstairs. The aesthetic upstairs is really quite lovely. From there our wait staffer, Daisha, guided us through multiple courses of culinary delight.I started with their pea and mint soup, which was something I'd never had before. It was well balanced and didn't push too much in the direction of pea or mint. It's something I hope to try again. For my entree I had the boeuf bourguignon. The beef and carrot mixture was nestled into a mashed potato vessel that gave a charming elevation to French country fare. I was particularly impressed with the herb-y flavor of the mashed potatoes, it married well with the beef/carrots/sauce.My wife had the salmon, which came topped with a very generous portion of smokey roe. She loved the way the smokiness complimented the salmon. Our friend also went with seafood and had the shrimp and scallops. I was lucky enough to get a bite of the scallops which were well seasoned and almost buttery smooth in the center. Their sauce americaine was delightful.Finally, to make up for being out of desserts on NYE the staff sent us the creme brullee AND the opera cake, which we're both a delight.We also had a few martinis (the 50:50 was a stand out, especially if you're like me and like vermouth), a decaffeinated cappuccino, and more than enough Coke.A magnificent experience.”

“My bestie helped me kick off my birthday week celebration by buying me a triple whopper and onion rings. And of course we wore our burger king crowns! It has been a very long time since I had Burger King and the food was pretty good. Not something I want to eat on a regular basis but for an occasional fun treat it is good. I saw alot of negative reviews for this particular store but we had a nice time just hanging out eating our burgers and sharing fries. The workers were perfectly kind and gave me my order in a timely manner. It's Burger King so set your expectations realistically and just have a good time chilling. Life is too short to let missing ketchup packets ruin your day or mood. And also, please be kind to all service workers. There is no reason to be rude.”

“I've been following their Instagram page for a while and added them to my list of black owned businesses to try. I was able to experience their frozen custard this week at an agency event. The special of the day, a Black Velvet Sundae. The owner, Brandon, started to tell me what this sundae consisted of, and honestly, after I heard the words "dark chocolate," I was hooked!YES, this was as good as it looks!! You can see the delicious dark chocolate cupcake with a rich dark chocolate frosting on top of a generous scoop of vanilla frozen custard with a drizzle of chocolate fudge sauce that had me drooling! ? What you can't see is the dark chocolate Brownie with unexpected chocolate chips that all of this delciousness was built on!! OMG! That first spoonful had some of all the parts, and it was a little bit of heaven, all the way to the last bite. It was the perfect balance of sweetness and textures. The Black Velvet Sundae is a must have for dark chocolate lovers and dessert lovers alike.Although there were other food trucks out, Brandon and his team did a great job explaining their offerings, they provided samples of their frozen custard, had great energy and excellent service. I am looking forward to visiting their storefront soon to enjoy more of those epic looking desserts I see popping up on my Instagram feed! ?”

We started off with the Cevapcici Appetizer and it was delicious! I had the seafood and rice special and the seafood was well seasoned with a good portion of perfectly cooked rice. Ended the meal with the Apfelkuechle with ice cream and it was phenomenal! Light but very tasty! Service was superb! Very friendly and attentive. Will definitely revisit this little Old Town gem! Can’t wait for the summer to enjoy their beautiful patio.”

Only suggestion I make is signage on outside. You are known for your bright yellow sign but that isn’t what’s on your building. So it was alittle hard to find. I knew you was open from following you on social media and I knew the area because I use to live there but my parents who live walking distance and others wasn’t aware of you. I think having more signage and your bright yellow signs so people traveling on Richmond highways know you there will give you the business you deserve.”

I got the tacos dorados, which were perfectly crispy and not too heavy on toppings. My husband got a few tacos regulares with some different meats and loved them. We also got chips and guacamole, and loved that the chips were clearly handmade and fresh. Service was great (my husband actually left without the rice and beans and they called to tell us). As Texans, we are thrilled to find an authentic taco place with quality food. Will definitely be back.”

However, on multiple occasions I have tried to grab some food between 9:30-9:45 and the doors are locked and they will signal that they are closed. I’m not taking away a star because the staff have explained it’s due to either staff shortage or food shortage, so not their fault.I do still highly recommend this Moe’s location.”

There was a customer in who ordered $35 worth of items and the line was all the way to the door and only one team member working. She was very surprised that everyone waited and nobody left while she prepared the large order. I loved her work ethics. She was calm and concise. She was not flustering trying to complete the large orders. She was polite and smiled and made small talks with every customer.”

Not only is it better for the planet and people, but it’s a better dining experience. They do allow for bring your own mug though, which I appreciate and use.”

That chicken skin must be dipped in finely grounded in house or fresh Amish market rinds bacon & made until crispy it's definitely Something!!! cuz it's heavily reminiscent of pork rinds!!! It's chicken that you can't compare at ALL.. from the coating the juicy seasoned chicken when you bite into it it's flavor through and through and that's where A LOT of establishments miss it your chicken meat has to be seasoned too!!! just just after you fry it!! The Mumbo Sauce is highly recommended!! it has a excellent kick to it can't be compared to your hood mumbo sauce either!! Like not even a little bit!! It won't happen your skin stays CRISPY CRUNCHY!! And that's Top Tier right there and doesn't dry out if you nuke it in the microwave for a little bit. It's safe to say I'll be returning here to try other items!!”

“We decided to try this restaurant out on Mother's Day and we had a nice time! We went around noon. The restaurant was not crowded at that time but you do have the option to make a reservation online. The employees were nice and they gave out flowers to the mothers for the day, which was a really sweet gesture. Overall, the food was good! The only thing we had that we did not care for was the French toast and the bacon funnel fries. The French toast was underwhelming and the bacon fries were just a weird, meh dish. All of our other dishes were delicious. I would recommend the grits dish because the pork belly was too good. There is street parking all around the restaurant; we had no issues finding a quick parking space. The restaurant is nice and clean and there is also a bar area. Overall, worth the visit. I would return to try the dinner menu.”
