It wasn't easy to choose just two donuts because every donut looked fresh and yummy; I left with half a dozen for the family.As I was leaving, a line was forming, and no one was leaving that line, so that told me it must be a local fav. The cinnamon roll donut was a pleasant surprise and yummy. The chocolate icing on both the glazed and Boston creams was delicious!Excited to find our new sweet treat place.It's worth the drive!”

“I had the opportunity to visit the Boathouse in Midlothian, VA. with my girls this past Saturday. It was a wonderful surprise, the food, service and atmosphere was excellent. We started off with appetizers, the New England Clam Chowder, Jalapeno Hush Puppies, and the Crab and Artichoke Dip. The waitresses were quick and very courteous. The food was hot, fresh, and very appetizing. The main courses was the Fish & Fries, Rock Fish and the Shrimp Platter. The dessert wasthe Bread Pudding, with Caramelized banana's, pecans, and caramel sauce. The atmosphere was looking out at the water. The beautiful couples were coming in to dine,. They were all dressed up for the Junior & Senior Prom. It was a steady flow of spectacular gowns and tuxs. It added that Special touch to the evening. It you haven't dined at the Boathouse in Midlothian, VA. It's a must do. Don't forget to make your reservation today. ?♥️♥️♥️??Parking: Two very large Parking lots that have free parking.”

I always love seeing employees and owner's that care about their buisness and I can tell these folks work hard. Our server Sophie was very nice and attentive. We ordered the donuts which were recommended and they were hot and delicious. I had the breakfast burger and my hubby had the B.E.L.T and both were really good. Prices were good too for the portion. We paid $42 for the both of us before tip. We will definitely return.”

It was a take out order and I didn’t feel like taking them back because it was later after 10 pm and I was already feeling bad from waiting to eat for such a long time that day. I did make the mistake of getting a large, not realizing it was a pint AND getting that large in vanilla malt, thinking for whatever reason that Vanilla Malt would be some sort of mizture. Nope straight vanilla but I still ate it all. Prices are pretty reasonable. 8 bucks for a pint of ice cream? That's not much more expensive than a pint of Talenti.”

When she delivered our food with a smile my nephew said "how did you make it so fast". She asked can I show him. The tables and dining area are very clean and welcoming, the food is incredible, and they even will clean up after you when you are done as well as bring out the food to you when it is done. The food was prepared exactly to our liking and came out reasonable quickly for how busy they were. We have some dietary restrictions, and they were able to accommodate.Service was A+. Our server, Amy, was so sweet and engaged with our family, even the littles. My coffee cup stayed full and she anticipated our needs (extra napkins, please!) before we had to ask. It was a generous size, but only had 2 pieces of chicken in it sadly.The vegetables were fresh and definitely all is made to order.I'd return. ?”
