Solace Brewing Company Brewery • $$
42615 Trade W Dr #100, Sterling

“Love Solace. Best brewery around. They've made it and I am happy for them. Any company where the beer is sold as a staple in the grocery stores or in other restaurants, you know it is good. Solace has done that. For the brewery itself, it is awesome. Lots of good beer, good place to go. Pretty big place, can bring you dog with no problem. Usually they have a good truck, so you can get a bite if you want.“

“First time and I'm very glad we came to check it out! Great comfortable atmosphere that offers a family area as well as 21 and over area in the bar area. Staff was knowledgeable and friendly, we thoroughly enjoyed out time. Several good beers were tried and I appreciate that a cider (woodchuck) us offered and was very good. We came in time for mimosas/beermosas and the brunch food. We both got huevos rancheros which was delicious. I also got the Nordic knot pretzels with the beer cheese and goat cheese, both were awesome. I'm glad I live so close and will definitely be back!! Highly recommend!!“

Juicy Brewing Co Brewery • $$
257 Sunset Park Dr, Herndon - 4.54 miles

“As a Seattleite/Pacific Northwesterner & overall connoisseur of craft brewing, I’m proud to say that Juicy Brewing has become my favorite brewery! That speaks volumes since breweries such as Great Notion, Cascade Barrel House, Holy Mountain and many more top notch breweries are in my neighborhood. Whoever’s in charge here has some skills! Last week I was fortunate to visit Juicy again and was tickled to time it just right with the ANCHOVY variant drop of their AE OPAQUE!!! Juicy’s OPAQUE series are top tier hazy’s and each variant is unique and perfectly prepared. Along with their hazy offerings, the sours are out of this world! Quaint, cozy and cool is how I’d describe Juicy Brewing. Although I love their quirky glassware, I feel I’m being shorted a bit and would love other glassware/ pour options. Here in the PNW we drink hazy’s in full pint glasses and I’d love to see that or other options offered. That said; they don’t run a tab, so remember what you had! When you’re done it’s up to you to remember what you had…so be honest! Jaja. Never experienced that before. If you’re into Craft beer, especially hazy IPAs, double hazy IPAs and sours, you’ll love the vibe in this little nano knock out! **If you’re inclined, hit up Enatye Ethiopian Restaurant right around the corner for a truly magical and harmonious evening. CHEERS!“

Dynasty Brewing Brewery • $$
21140 Ashburn Crossing Dr suite 130-135, Ashburn - 2.04 miles

“Great local microbrewery in Northern Virginia. Always a good mix of beers on tap and great staff too. I like that it’s not a huge brewery / restaurant like some other places, just beer, a few tv’s, back patio and relaxing environment. Also very dog friendly. We usually come w our two pups and grab a beer or two each week. On Sundays there’s also a discount if you bring a dog, and there’s a very fun trivia night on Wednesdays. It’s so fun / popular that if you don’t arrive early you may not find a table. Just a great local place to have in the community.“

Mustang Sally Brewing Company Brewery • $$
14140 Parke Long Ct A-C, Chantilly - 7.88 miles

“There's always something new at Mustang Sally every time I visit. They have Trivia weekly if that's your thing. It's entertaining to watch even if you're not participating. Family friendly in that you can bring the kids if they're capable of sitting at the table with you, but don't expect to let them run around, it's not that kind of brewery.Beers: There staples are definitely sours/sour variants, and IPAs. Both of which they do an excellent job with. The beer names/themes are also always enjoyable, great throwbacks to pop culture.Events: Mustang Sally has some of the best themed events/parties in the area. The Sour Fest, Dill Pickle Fest, and countless others are always awesome and a great value.Venue: awesome pinball games, plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Food inside on most days at Eugene's.“

“This place is the best. I have been coming here for years. Not only do they have a killer IP selection of beers, but they also have cider, root beer and other drinks as well. The food is not bad and there is a large following here. Certain nights of the week there are certain events like bring you own vinyl night. They have lots of outdoor seating. Cornhole, pinball machines and even live musicians some nights. The staff is always friendly and full of advice if your looking for something new or just want a small taste to see if you like it. Get Lost Catering Caterers • $$
21730 Red Rum Dr #142, Ashburn - 2.58 miles

“This place is the BEST. I've loved their beer for awhile (I often order it on restaurant menus) but we didn't visit here for the first time until a few months ago. SINCE then, I'm pretty sure we have popped in 5-7 times in about the span of 2 months. This is pretty crazy considering I live over an hour away, sometimes closer to 2 hours with traffic. Did I mention, I will travel for great beer? ;) We had rolled by the parking lot several times, prior to visiting, but never stopped in because it always LOOKED too crowded from the outside. I'm not a fan of not having a place to set your drink down. However, the place inside has more than enough space to spread out with room for everyone. It can get really crowded on the Friday Night / Saturday though, and can get a little rambunctious when lots of the "younger" guests start running around with no supervision. To avoid this, we often visit on a weekday in the afternoon/evening. Not only is the beer incredible, but the game room is our 2nd favorite part. ;) The wide selection of pinball machines changes from time to time, and there's even a pinball league. The games are not overly expensive to play - we bring our own quarters along because we like to play a lot of rounds on the various machines. There is a change machine right in the game room if you forget to bring your own quarters. :) We met the owner/servicer of the machines last weekend. I struck up a conversation with him and he was so gracious and kind. He answered a bunch of my questions and even walked us through a round of multiplayer pinball on his newest machine, Cactus Canyon! :) Needless to say, we are even more hooked then we were before, LOL! We didn't order food this time, but we have tried the nachos in the past and they were amazing. I can't wait to try some more of their delicious options such as the pretzel. They often do special menus for weekend events - we are hoping to catch some of these in the future. Our favorite beers to enjoy in the taproom are Final Glide, Hit the Lip, Meridian Kolsch, and Face Plant - depending on our mood. I usually head for the new release first - and they release new beers often, theres always something new to try. :) I love the chalk art menu board they have at the bar. The bartenders are super nice, friendly, and knowledgable. You can ask for a little sample if you are not sure which one you like. In sum, RUN, do not walk, as soon as you can to Lost Rhino! :) I know we will be back again and again.“

Black Hoof Brewing Company Brewery • $$
11 S King St, Leesburg - 10.44 miles

“Nice local brewery with outdoor seating both in front and behind the building. If it's crowded, they also have plenty of indoor seats. The beer selection is well rounded -- at least one each of a Pilsner, Stout, IPA, and Seltzer. I didn't notice a Lager, but you can check their beer listing online. Overall, I think it's worth going to to hang out for a while.“

“This was a small little house downtown. Not too big inside maybe 3-4 tables in front room with an outdoor seating area and another small adjacent room. Loudoun Brewing Company Brewery • $
310 E Market St, Leesburg - 10.12 miles

“Came to Leesburg for a wedding and our first stop was Loudoun Brewing because it was open at 2pm on a thursday (rare for leesburg). The beer was amazing and we loved the different vibes of all the spaces: downstairs taproom vibe, upstairs cozy lounge gaming vibe (with a bathroom), tent shade and greenery vibe with views of the house that General Marshall WWII Secretary of Defense lived in post war), and the sunny brewery game vibe front.Honestly we had a great time and def would recommend it for anyone who flies into Dulles and their room isnt quite ready or just wants to explore. Quick uber from most hotels in leesburg.“

Lake Anne Brew House Brewery • $$
11424 Washington Plaza W, Reston - 5.42 miles

“Little quaint brewery located at Lake Anne waterfront. When I approached the place, my first impression was that it was located in somebody's basement. But opening the door, I was pleasantly surprised with clean and neat brewery and friendly greeting by the staff at the counter behind, which had about 10 taps all brewed in-store. The weather was a dampener. Otherwise, we could have sat on the deck by the river, sipping the drinks. Beer selection ranges from lighter to IPA to dark ones. They have cider, shandy, and Kombucha options, too. Food options are limited to nice, warm pretzels and some packaged snacks, which is expected in a small local brewery like this. The good news is they have a great neighbors serving good food like Lake Anne Coffee House and Kalypso. You can get the food ordered from there or bring your own food.“

“Food was delicious, beer was great and staff was super friendly. Very family friendly and chill vibes. Only bummer was they didn’t have any ciders on tap. The few seltzers they had weren’t great. If you are looking for non-beer options it’s not the place for you.Food was more BBQ than Hawaiian (small hint of Hawaiian)—still delicious, but nothing like an LnL.Overall, great experience and would come back if I’m in the area again!“

The bar is excellent, whether you're looking for a good craft beer from the in-house brewery or a phenomenal cocktail. They always have at least 2 food vendors open (Mon/Tues), and the rest of the week they have 4 food vendors available to choose from, and they're all pretty great. I think my current favorite thing is the panini from Pauleen's, but it's wonderful to have a variety to choose from.“

Aslin Beer Company - Herndon Brewery • $$

“We came in for a lunch after riding on the WO&D trail. They were easily accessible from the trail/parking. There are a ton of spots to put your bike inbetween the two buildings (Aslin & their food side). Mid-day there were plenty of open tables both inside and outside. There were 4 dogs visiting, so they are definitely dog friendly. The beer was great (we ordered the IPAs) and food was also good. We had the pizza and fry-chos. They do offer high chairs if you are dining with younger children. They also had an arcade area that some older children were enjoying while waiting for their food.“
