This is a small pub. Located in a strip mall. I've never been here before. I'll never return.I made the mistake of going here on St Patrick's Day . Google suggested that they might have corned beef and cabbage. They didWhen I walked in about 1:00om I remember thinking it's not crowded here that's not a good sign. The server tried to seat me right next to the kitchen which I declined and seated in another. It had the elements of Saint Patrick's Day, something was off. It was almost as if they didn't want to open that. There was a plastic container of leftover St Patrick's Day treats beaded necklaces, flashing necklaces margarita glasses, beer mugs, all plastic sat by itself in a corner . Customers were instructed to file through it's and take something with them but they were all intertwined. One two customers took the time to make the mess suitable and reorganize it so that it was attractive. I didn't take any. They have a variety of beers and menu but they filled at the one thing that they were supposed to be known for the corned beef and cabbage. The first order that I was handed the horse size carrots and the potatoes were not cooked fully.. I could not cut them with a knife! The corned beef was stringy and difficult to chew. I sent it back. The server brought me a blackened potato which is the biggest insult you can do to an Irish woman. We grew potatoes on our family farm. That potato was a disgrace.I asked the kitchen staff who were helping bus the tables, I take it you don't serve corned beef and cabbage very often? He said no it's not on the menu. Good reason. This could have been a beautiful place to have drinks with friends. But most of the people that came in were people with kids. Most ordered the fish and chips.I would have to say this was the worst had in my 60 years. If you've gotten this, after this they closed permanently. Obviously they have been having a lot of problems lately. ?St Patrick's Day was the last meal.

Perhaps too little, too late but it will forever be a sad spot for me and my family that we didn't discover this amazing Essex gem sooner when we moved here and can't continue to have many meals here as a family. A true family place, Cody's had excellent food at a great price, top notch service, and some excellent music always playing in the background. Cheers to making an amazing ☘ mark on our town!

Went today for corn beef and cabbage. The potatoes and carrots were not even started and when we finally did get the dinner no cabbage so the waitress went and got us a bowl. Not well organized for what should be a fun day. The potatoes and carrots were so hard we couldn’t eat them so that being said I would still go back and try something else that maybe they can do it correctly.

Great hang out and pub food spot. Love the blue cheese burger, love the taco salad (in a shell bowl), love the spicy tenders (hot is actually a decent level of spice). Reasonable prices - we go here now and then and it always leaves us satisfied and not feeling like we spent too much.

Food was awful. Took a long time, expensive and didn't feel well after. Customer service was extremely poor. Never trust waitstaff that do not write orders down, they always get something wrong. Apparently she didn't like being told that as her tip but oh well. Won't be back.

Always great food. Served hot. Our waiter/host/ bartender was great. Fun and attentive. PS makes a great lemon drop.
Unplanned stop, and perfect. Hot roast beef over bread with gravy was perfect comfort food for a rainy day. And my husband had the Ruben - very good!

I believe it's only my second time at the long established business. I went with the Philly cheese steak and fries. I was not disappointed at all. I highly recommend. Michelle was our fine waitress.

I had a salad with apples and pecans. The balsamic vinegarette was good with the salad. The ingredients were all fresh and crunchy. I also had a Guinness that was well poured with a perfect head on it (nitrogen, not carbonate). There was plenty of free parking right out front.
