“Since we've moved here we've been searching for a good Indian place, after trial and error elsewhere, this spot did not disappoint! Hands down the best we've had in Vancouver. We've eaten here a few times and it's always flavorful and delicious. We always get delivery so I can't attest to the restaurant experience but it's always 10/10 when we order in. Fresh, well-spiced (I could take more heat honestly but general spices are good), and a good price! Lamb samosas are a must have. The thali option for entrees is perfect for two! I am an avid customer and will be ordering at least monthly. Thank you for the delicious food and I can't wait to try everything on the menu!“

“WOW! The lamb was literally melt in your mouth! There was more lamb than potatoes, carrots or sauce. I had the Lamb Vindaloo. Definitely ordering from them again.“

“NE Portland has been waiting for food like this. Indian seems very underrepresented out this way, but no more. The huge menu is a little overwhelming since flavors and ingredients overlap quite a bit. But everything we tried was incredible and hot and freshly made. The entire dining space, indoor and out could use a huge makeover to match the high quality of the food. The staff was also super helpful and friendly.Kid-friendliness: High chair available, but caution, even "mild" dishes pack some heat. The cheese naan was a huge hit with the little ones.“

“Wow I’ve been looking for Indian food in Portland and i love pizza, so i had to try this place when i drove by.The tandoor chicken pizza is amazing. The dough is so soft and the chicken has the right amount of spice. Tastes like home! Can’t wait to bring my family here when they visit.“

“I have been going to this place for 2 years now. The food has NEVER been anything but amazing! I am in love with the tikka masala(spicy side of mild or white boy side of medium). The owner and his nephew are so warm and welcoming.Do yourself a favor. Try it out and fall in love with the food. DONT FORGET THE GARLIC NAAN!!“

“My new favorite brunch spot right now.❤️Saagshuka ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐- super flavorful: slight spice, garlicky, creamy- better than normal shaksuka- loved the crunchy roasted garlic- got it with bacon- the bread was insanely goodPakora waffle with chicken ⭐⭐⭐⭐- love the chicken, it's so juicy and crispy it was a tiny bit sweet, wasn't spicy- the vegetables are really crisp and almost sour in a good way? It's almost like coleslaw but not overly mayonnaisey- loved the chickpeas- the waffle was a little dry but it had so much sauce that it didn't matterShrimp and grits ⭐⭐⭐✨- just ok for me- the shrimp was really juicy- most of the contrasting flavor came from the pickled onionsButtah chicken hash ⭐⭐⭐⭐✨- the gravy was good- the potatoes were really good- the balance was great- lots of food“

“I wanted to come here after seeing it on Somebody Feed Phil.I got a Veggie Thali Platter which was delicious. I get Indian food a lot and this was very unique compared to other Indian food I've had.I wish this food cart pod had more heaters for cold days, but overall, I loved it and would highly recommend it!“

“Great spot to explore indian flavors in Portland. They have a television playing Indian movies all the time and you are also surrounded by Indian decor across the restaurant and the restrooms as well.We got the chicken kathi roll, pav bhaji and the indian chai. The kathi roll was flavorful, good portion size and high quality and pav bhaji was decent as well.Highly recommend this spot which is also pretty reasonably priced as well!“
“From the moment I stepped up to the food cart, I was greeted with the kind of warm hospitality that you’d expect from a brick and mortar establishment. The team running the place was exceptional—friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about their craft. The star of the show was undoubtedly the lamb. It was prepared to perfection, succulent and rich in flavor, leaving an impression that lingered long after the meal was over. It’s not an exaggeration to say it’s some of the best lamb I’ve ever had—the kind you’d ‘die for’.But the excellence didn’t stop at the food. The service was top-tier; prompt, efficient, and always with a smile. It’s clear that customer satisfaction is a top priority here. The ambiance of the cart added to the overall experience. It was inviting and comfortable, making it a pleasant place to enjoy a meal, whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or settling in for a leisurely lunch. In summary, this food cart is a gem that offers an excellent experience. With great food, superb service, and a nice ambiance, there’s really nothing more one could ask for.“

“I discovered my new Favorite food in the Universe when I was today hours old: momos!Orig from the monasteries of Tibet/Nepal… if you can imagine Polish pierogis & pelmini having a hot steaming sweaty 3-way w/ Chinese xiao long Bao all night while the dogs watch…you might have an idea what I just Xperienced going down my pie hole. And at only $12/order, they’re a Steal.“

“Tikkalicious is my favorite restaurant in Portland BY FAR. I usually get the lamb makhani and chicken biryani, and I’m blown away every time like it’s my first time having it again. The lamb makhani is delicious, flavorful and tender, and the chicken in the chicken biryani has incredible flavor and falls off the bone. The garlic naan is perfect every time. The food is spicy, but worth it and so delicious. I order from here regularly, I highly recommend Tikkalicious! (Order take out, not DoorDash!)“

“The environment is modern indian and quite dark. The chicken tikka masala has very smokey flavor, the Korma was not.Nan breads were a little crispy and the rice was good.I asked for a medium spice on both dishes, and both came out fairly mild. heat level of course is fairly subjective, but I did expect a bit more based on general experience.I would go here again but the smokey flavor was too much and in my opinion overpowered and ruined the masala dish, so I probably wouldn't order that again. Even though I normally love that dish at other restaurants.“

“Really yummy, well seasoned food! The spice level of my eggplant masala was right where I like it, a bit of heat but not so much that it overwhelmed the dish. We got a sampler of the pakoras and the breading was fantastic. I also got their mango mixed drink which was well mixed and refreshing. My friends and I shared our dishes and I enjoyed everything I tried! The server was great, personable and attentive, but gave us time to enjoy our food once we got it. Will be back when I am in the area again for sure.Vegetarian options: As expected from Indian food, there were plenty of vegetarian options, and I believe I saw some dishes with options to make them vegan if that's your dietary preference.“

“One of the best places to eat this style of food, they really use fresh and quality products, personally I always like the Chicken Biryani and its preparation is perfect, the rice is not stuck like other establishments in the area offer it with or without spicy , likewise the Garlic Naan are perfect and delicious. Highly recommend ordering food from this place, the service is excellent, and the portions are very generous.“

“Vegetarian options: I told the cashier I wanted a selection of 4 different vegetarian choices that we'd share family style and he suggested great options. We also added the Gobi Manchurian (Cauliflower) that was a daily special option. Indian food is my favorite ethnic cuisine and I've tried food from many regions but nothing has ever been quite like this. It was fresh and light. Each dish was richly flavored without being too spicy (hot). My kids had no problem eating it.We appreciated the self service counters so you could pack your food to go without waiting. We enjoyed browsing the "spice market" with food and souvenirs while our food was being prepared. The atmosphere was fun and uniquely decorated.Parking: Parking is sparse and after circling many times through the narrow neighborhood streets my husband dropped me off and parked while I ordered and got a table.Wheelchair accessibility: Our daughter was in a wheelchair and we had no problem sliding her up under-the-table around with the rest of our family.“

“This is such a lovely spot for Indian food. The gentleman running the cart was super friendly, and he made everything fresh to order. Nothing more comforting than freshly made chai and chole bhature! This hit the spot on a cold day. I'll definitely return.“

“Got the lunch thali (which is an entree of either goat, vegetable, or one other meat option and then sides). All of the sides were vegetarian, so you can share amongst everyone at the table. It was only $13-14 for the thali lunch and it was plenty. We took home enough for another 2 meals. The thali lunch comes with rice and naan, plenty of curries, side dressings (raitha and chutney), and even dessert. My favorite was the mushroom side. It was basically chicken 65 but with mushrooms, and I was so happy since I haven't been able to eat the texture and taste of chicken 65 since becoming vegetarian. My dad loved the place. We are Malayalee and there is a good combination of some south Indian (paisam [which they call rice kheer], sambar, the mushroom 65) and North Indian (palaak paneer, raitha, daal curry, naan). Definitely recommend for lunch, and they also have a large space that may be good for larger gatherings.Vegetarian options: For the lunch menu, there was a vegetarian option that had plenty of variety and flavor. Even with the thali lunch, the meat choice had all vegetarian sides, with only the entree being meat.Parking: There aren't too many spots in the parking lot, so it may be difficult to find a spot if it's very busy. There is street parking, and public transportation goes right by as well.“

“Apologies for the less than exciting looking photo. It's hard to photo dosa in the dark! I had been having a dosa craving for ages and was excited to find a truck that had dosa. I was a little skeptical at first since they also have kolaches, donuts, and biscuits and gravy. I got the chicken dosa which was tasty. They definitely didn't skimp on the dosa since it was three layers deep in the box! I thought the flavors were good overall. The sambal and chutney had a nice spice that really added quite a bit. The filling could have maybe used just a hint more spice. Overall, super happy and warm inside now.“

“This place is a staple for us! My wife & I love the Vancouver location so much, we eat there at least once a month. We’ve tried a lot of the most popular Indian food options in the Portland area over the years & this place is just a step above the rest! The food is always fresh & so tasty, you won’t find better Butter Chicken anywhere else. The naan is amazing but my personal fav is the garlic cheese naan, it’s delicious. The staff are friendly & the atmosphere is inviting. Highly recommend to anyone looking for consistently great Indian cuisine!“
