“Menchie's is the BEST! I love that you can pick your size. Even the small ice creams at other stores are too big so I love that I can control the size and not feel like I'm wasting any food or money. The toppings are amazing. They have SO many options! Everything is fresh and delicious, nothing tastes old or stale. The customer service is great and you can taste the frozen yogurt before you decide what you want. It's also not on Daley expensive like other "build your own ice cream" places. There is plenty of seating and lots of drinks to choose from if you get thirsty. They also have cakes and even slices of cake for a good to-go option. My kids are obsessed with this place. I highly recommend it!“

“My wife told me about this place and I was reluctant at first, thinking it was a large scale restaurant. It's located in a great part of downtown Vancouver and is very quaint with a great atmosphere with excellent service. Our breakfast was served in 10 minutes and we both loved it.We will certainly make this a go to spot when we're in town!“

“I was pleasantly surprised by this place after trying many other sushi spots in East Vancouver. They had a good assortment of rolls, nigiri, and a small list of cooked items.What we had was very good quality at a reasonable price. My wife had the lunch special with 2 rolls, salad, and soup. I had a sushi combo. The soup was perfect with noticeable kombu flavor. The cucumber salad was tasty. Sushi and the rolls were well made and the fish was good though not the highest quality. (But good quality, still).Service was prompt and efficient.Go here if you crave sushi and don't want to break the budget.“

“We love Crave and have gone there several times. The mac and cheese is beyond great. We love the pasta they use, and the sauce is amazing. I always have extra to take home too. Not your grandma's grilled cheese is another favorite. I personally don't understand the bad reviews. It has been so great every time we go we have been completely satisfied and have told management several times. Compared to a lot of places and fast food at the same prices, it is a no-brainer. “I had the tom yum noodle soup. It's not like the usual Thai tom yum I eat...broth looked different and it tasted sweeter. I assume it was prepared a different way. I prefer the traditional tom yum. But everything seemed fresh and it tasted fine nonetheless. Would like to try their other items. Esp the waffle and crepe but I'm not currently eating gluten at the moment. Wish they were closer to the main part of Vancouver.“

My friend looks over and says "this is awesome" - I nodded in agreement. I think the service was quick and polite at the counter, but a bit slow on delivery. Atmosphere was good, but a bit tired looking, although clean.“

“Since we've moved here we've been searching for a good Indian place, after trial and error elsewhere, this spot did not disappoint! Hands down the best we've had in Vancouver. We've eaten here a few times and it's always flavorful and delicious. We always get delivery so I can't attest to the restaurant experience but it's always 10/10 when we order in. Fresh, well-spiced (I could take more heat honestly but general spices are good), and a good price! Lamb samosas are a must have. The thali option for entrees is perfect for two! I am an avid customer and will be ordering at least monthly. Thank you for the delicious food and I can't wait to try everything on the menu!“

“To be honest, my daughter and I found this gem accidentally, like throwing a dart at a dart board. Be aware that parking is difficult to find, but it is well worth it. The ambiance of being inside a wine cask, surrounded by wines of all kinds was aesthetically pleasing and the large open layout was equally warm and inviting. I order the Angus bites with mushroom and it was grilled to order and in a sauce that was amazing, my daughter had the Barrel Room burger and it was delicious and the fries were a twisted version of potatoes wedges crispy yet soft. We also had the pork pot stickers served in a red chili and honey sauce that was a spectacular blending of flavors. The service was amazing and our server was very attentive. I spoke with the Marine that owns the establishment about his inventory of wines the he sells by the bottle and case, I'm going to need to bring more money next time. Great food, spirits and prices.... I will be coming back and you should make it a place to go see !!!“

“Just a quick note about Killer Burger. Everyone keeps telling me how good the Peanut Butter Bacon Pickle burger is. I took a chance last night and am truly amazed at how good it was! Not really a peanut butter taste - just made it really good and creamy. I believe it's my new favorite.“

“Well, I think I have found my most favorite Thai place in Vancouver.. finally! I think this place has only been around for a couple of years now? But I wish I would've stopped in before today! I had the salad rolls along with their wonderful peanut and plum sauce. I ordered just veggie rolls instead of having shrimp or tofu and they were so good! It's sort of rare to find pieces of cucumbers in salad rolls for some reason. I also ordered the pad khee mao, also known as drunken noodles. It was wonderful! Cooked and flavored perfectly! Their restaurant is really beautiful and their host and servers were so friendly and accommodating!! I can't wait to take my fiance back soon!!!“

“Recommend with hesitation. We have been regular customers since they opened, and love their food. In for dinner on Wed 9/6, and we both ordered pizza because if one person orders pizza and the other orders pasta, pizza comes first and then pasta order 10-15 minutes later. My wife wanted pasta but we decided to both order pizza - took 45 frick'n minutes and then they screwed up my wife's pizza because the waitress wrote down the order incorrectly ; when it finally arrived crust was underdone. Based on comments we overheard tonight, ours was not the only boo-boo tonight. Recommendation: don't go in right after they have been closed for a holiday weekend, and be aware of different timing for pasta and pizza“
