After years in the restaurant industry and now retired into a different field, I know when a place truly delivers on comfort and quality — and Bridgespan does exactly that.

This is the kind of spot where you find your home comfort food. Their daily specials are always tempting, with soups that are rich in flavor and perfectly balanced sandwiches like the avocado and chicken — generous portions at prices that make sense. Every bite feels like it was made to “hit the spot,” leaving you fully satisfied.

The servers are friendly, the atmosphere is easygoing, and it’s exactly what you need for a quick, reasonably priced, delicious lunch. Bridgespan has officially become my go-to place to skip the boxed home lunch and treat myself instead. Great work, Bridgespan team — you’ve got a regular in me.

While I have never eaten at the cafe, I have utilized their catering service several times now and am so impressed! The selection of items available fits every type of event, the prices are more than reasonable and the service from start to finish is friendly and professional. All of the feedback from our event attendees when we use Bridgespan Cafe for our catering is hugely positive. We are also a human services agency so love to support community partners and what they stand for!

Hi there,

I hope this post finds you well! I have some feedback about the portions and menu that I wanted to share with you. It would be great if the portions could be a bit bigger – the soup, for instance, is very tiny. While the snack is absolutely delicious, it would be perfect if it included at least one carrot and half of a big cucumber. The three veggies currently provided are quite little and few. Adding some tomatoes would also be a wonderful addition to the snack.

On a positive note, the bread pudding is absolutely heavenly with delicious ice cream, and the portion size is just perfect. I really love the points system as it makes us feel appreciated.

Lastly, I would love to see some more healthy choices on the menu, particularly more vegetables and maybe adding a whole fruit, like grapes. I remember there used to be some nuts, but I haven't seen them lately. Snack plate needs some love .

Great job overall and thank you for taking our feedback into consideration. Looking forward to seeing some of these changes!

Went here for lunch and got the last beef dip at 11:45 am. And beef barley soup. The food was great but very small portions, as you can see from the pics. The fries were very crispy.
Very friendly service.
Clean bright dining area.

Excellent service! Great, fresh tasting food! Menu feels diverse and both slightly upscale and like familiar homemade comfort food. Fairly priced. Clean. Easily my favourite place to lunch in Acheson! The vermicelli bowl is my favourite, but the truffle fries are also a divine pairing for any sandwich or as part of a fish & chips order (1000% worth the upgrade)!
