Wonderful food as far back as when it was Smoke N' Ash. Some of the best bbq in the Edmonton area (most edmonton bbq is bland and tasteless). Food is very reasonably-priced with large portions. Unfortunately, hours are limited, but it is otherwise a real gem.

Their brisket surely won't be winning any award any time soon. It was very dry. The beans were crunchy which means that they didn't cook them long enough; they also had a burnt taste to them. And they had some other weird, unpleasant flavor to them. Mashed potatoes were bland. While the fries looked like they were freshly cut, they did not taste freshly cooked and were luke-warm. They had lots of business come in and out while we were there, but the food just wasn't very good at all. There are other places in Edmonton that do 100% better on the brisket, and, well, nobody should be messing up fries. I don't think we will be back. I will drive further. I would have gladly paid $30 a meal if only they could have gotten it right, or at least close.

this place is close to River Cree Casino (west Edmonton) with Some of the best Corn Bread I have ever ate!!, Smoked Brisket that melts in your mouth, and I hear the slow smoked wings are to die for 🤤💯🙏

Im here for the week and I found my lunch spot for each day. Pretty good value for your money, you’ll leave full for the day.
This place used to be so great. It's gone slowly downhill but it's really terrible now. Little things like making the gravy slimy and tasteless to the true travesty of the brisket. The brisket has always been succulent juicy and just excellent. It's now dry and mushy at the same time is the best words to describe it. Very gamey tasting just subpar. I gave them three chances before I left this review. I wish it wasn't like that but it is.

I first visited Smoke n Spudz before they moved locations and had the all-you-can-eat option. The brisket here is tender and pretty flavorful. The BBQ beans had a really flavorful sauce that I loved, though the beans themselves had a firm texture. The potatoes were also great, smashed, and topped with cheese. The table BBQ sauce is smokey,tangy,and sweet. Overall, this is one of the better places to eat in the Acheson area!
