Unfortunately, our experience at this restaurant was disappointing due to the poor service. When our server brought the menus, she tossed the specials menu at us and made a point of saying, “These are today’s specials” in a way that felt dismissive and discriminatory. It was an uncomfortable start to the meal.

I ordered a white sangria, but what I received was just plain wine — not a proper sangria at all. I didn’t drink it and left it untouched, but the server never asked if anything was wrong or offered to correct it.

The food itself was good, but the service really took away from the overall experience. Hospitality matters.

Steak sandwich was great! Option to add garlic prawns is definitely not worth it. Their chicken sandwich was soggy.

I tried Brewsters trivia night for first time and was presently surprised by the quality of service and my enjoyment of the evening. I gave Brewsters trivia a try because our group was disapointed in the service from our original choice. We feel it was the right move, I was able to easily watch the hockey games and particpate in trivia, its not a loud establishment and its clean.

Food gets lower star only because if the price.

Update: just wanted to say that Sara, the GM, addressed my concerns and I was very pleased with how she dealt with it. Thank you!

Went for lunch with my daughter’s ringette team and overall was a pleasant experience until the bill came. My 8 year old daughter had the kids tomato soup and had asked the waitress if they had plain noodles to put in her soup and she said yes. Was gutted to see them add a side of bacon Mac and cheese to the bill which was $9.99 for a small bowl of plain macaroni noodles - so her $8 kids meal turned into a $20 kids meal. Would have appreciated the server running it by the paying adult before going ahead with the side (the kids were sitting at the opposite end of the table). I know it was an odd the menu request but $10 was crazy! Was an unfortunate end as the adult meals were quite enjoyable!

I’m usually not one to complain this far when it comes to restaurants but oh my goodness is this experience worth a review. I came hear a few nights ago with my friend and our boss. We arrived around 8:30pm and the sign said seat yourself so we did just that. We had been sitting for about 10 minutes when a server walked by us and ran into the kitchen after looking directly at our table. Finally 10 minutes later our server came and took our drink order but after taking it she went and chatted with the other 2 tables near us and didn’t bring our drinks. She came back about 15 minutes later to take our food order and had to ask us what drinks we wants again because she has forgot and not put it into the system. After that she brought our drinks right away. Mind you we had ordered our food at about 9-9:10. When about 9:45 rolled around our server had walked past our table and my boss had nicely pulled her to the side to ask what was going on with our food. We didn’t order anything super complicated either, I had ordered a chicken burger, my friend ordered chicken strips and our boss ordered the beef dip so nothing super extraordinary. When he had asked what was going on with our food she responded incredibly rudely, had a very impolite tone when speaking to him and just made up excuses saying it was incredibly busy when there was only about 3 other tables that already had their food. She also had completely forgotten what our boss had ordered, saying he ordered a steak so it would be a while. The whole time she really didn’t seem interested in being polite with us or helping us at all. This girl should definitely not be working customer service! She seemed to have more interest in serving the tables in the bar area rather than the restaurant area. 2 men sat down at a table across from us after us and she helped them first and they had their food first when they had ordered more than just the three of us. All of us were just disappointed in the whole experience and the food was mediocre at best if i’m honest. If you come here definitely do not come after 8pm. the staff seem uninterested and just want to be done with the day that they are just blatantly rude to customers. It took us complaining for the manager to bring us our food and tell us that they discounted our bill. Our server and the manager both did not speak to us at all after our food was served finally at 10pm, almost an hour after we had ordered except when we had to call her over to ask for boxes. We think she either forgot to put our food order in just like she did with our drinks or the kitchen was shortstaffed. We ate our food, got some boxes and were out of there 20 minutes after we got our food. Overall disappointed and are not returning here anytime soon. :(

Edit: Her name is Kayla, as it said on our bill.

Went for 79 cent wing night. Great quality wings and decent brews. Booths are a little tight.

Stopped here after my nephews hockey tournament for supper with the family and some of the other players on the team. Was extremely disappointed to see that they closed at 430pm. I think this is the first time not including during covid that I've seen a restaurant close half hour before the supper rush.

Brewsters is a great spot if you’re looking for a bar vibe with a mix of good food and friendly service. The atmosphere leans more toward a casual bar scene, perfect for hanging out with friends or unwinding after a long day.

The menu offers a variety of food options, so there’s something for everyone. The quality is solid, and the service really stands out—our waitress was super nice and attentive, making the experience even better.

If you’re planning a visit, I’d recommend checking out their happy hour deals. They add even more value to an already enjoyable experience. Overall, Brewsters is worth a visit for its relaxed vibe, great service, and solid food options!

Really expected more from a $22 burger. The outside was charcoal and the inside not fully cooked. Frozen burgers ???

The soup was okie..both had a bit of a distinguished taste. Having said that it wasn't bad just odd. We had more wonton soup and french onion.
Our server was Jordan she was exceptional kind and authentic no phoniness about her.. not to mention she's stunning.. and as we left other waitresses said thanks for coming which is really nice.
So the service was 10 out of 10.. as far as the atmosphere all was good that way except that the music choice was irritating and a little bit too loud..

I booked a table for 9 people and I wasn't told when I reserved the table , or anyone at the table were not told at any point that there was an automatic Gratuity for a large group, which would have been fine except it took 45 minutes for the waitress to take our drink orders and even check on us. It took over an hour for the waitress to come over and take our food order. She didn't come and ask how are food was and we waited another 30 minutes after we all finished our meals to get the bills. Our reservation was for 445pm and we didn't get out until 730 because there was no service. Then we all got slapped in the face with a surprise gratuity for the worst service I have ever had. Gratuity should still be earned , you shouldn't be able to slack off because you're guaranteed a tip. It wasn't even that busy there. Like I also said Gratuity would be fine too if they told us about it.
