So very true story - I walked into cottage yesterday, and there was nobody at the counter...I called out a few times and nobody came so I left (this has happened a few times, I'm guessing they only pay attention to weekday lunch and serve the high school from across the street crowd) ...but I still had my pizza craving (I do not eat pizza often) but had seen a pizza place previously up the street so decided to try there for a slice...This was my first time at Chicago Deep...
Pizza is decent but both times I’ve been there recently, I’ve encountered terrible customer service from the same man and woman. No hello, no goodbye, barely acknowledging. Just abysmal. Why would I continue to go there if that’s how customers are treated.

Chicago Deep Dish Pizza never disappoints! I tried their “Pizza by the Slice” special — 2 slices and a canned pop for just $10 — and it was totally worth it. The slices were massive, perfectly cheesy, and had that golden, slightly crispy crust that hits just right. You can tell they use quality ingredients — every bite was packed with flavor and just the right amount of sauce and toppings.
