Ferraro Truly Italian

Ferraro Truly Italian is hands-down the best Italian restaurant I’ve ever been to—even better than the top spots in Montreal! This awesome couple, Manny & Nyla, are amazing in the kitchen and front of house, making you feel right at home. Every dish, from the meatballs to the lamb to the pasta, is bursting with authentic flavor. We Ubered from downtown Calgary to Airdrie twice just to eat here—absolutely worth it!

Our dinner at Ferraro Truly Italian in Airdrie was absolutely fantastic—everything we ordered was to die for! The food was incredible, especially the Lasagna, which was rich and flavorful, and the Carbonara was perfectly creamy. We also had the Tomato Salad, Parma Pizza, and Spaghetti ala Gigi, all of which were exceptional.
For dessert, the Tiramisu was a highlight and paired perfectly with a Spanish Coffee. We also enjoyed an Old Fashioned and a Pinacolada from the bar.
The entire experience was made even better by the charming lady owner who made us feel so welcome. I wish I had remembered to snap more pictures of all the amazing dishes, but thankfully I did get a couple of shots of the delicious pizza and the heavenly tiramisu!

A nice little spot to get a delicious meal! The owner himself waited the tables making sure everything was just right. The kitchen is in the open so you can even see them preparing your food. I definitely will return

this restaurant has become our favourite in Alberta. When we’re in Calgary, always try to have a meal here. in our ladder years, we have travelled extensively and food is an important part of the travel experience. we enjoy this authentic restaurant as much as Michelin rated restaurants in various parts of the world.

Stellar food. There is no substitute for hand made pasta; my wife's dish was sublime, and my lamb chops were amazing. The owners work the floor and are so much fun! From appetizers to dessert, the meal was simply fantastic.

We went here for our anniversary and was definitely not disappointed. The staff was professional, courteous and very friendly and had the perfect balance of attending to our table while also leaving us alone.

The food was absolutely phenomenal and they surprised us with a special dish made just for our anniversary and it was definitely beyond our expectations. Each menu item is made with a lot of care bringing out unique flavors and taste!

Don’t bother with Calgary. Take a mandatory detour through Airdrie for a marvellous Italian food experience. We will return to sample more of the menu, but the arancini, salads, lasagna, gnocchi, and Florentine crepe were each worth the trip. Google map the route and prepare to stay and savour!

We had an excellent experience at Ferraro. The food was amazing & our server made the experience the best. She was funny and happy and quick on everything. The ambiance is nice and the building is super cute. Highly recommend coming here.
