Surprising gem just off the QE2 I'm Olds. Excellent food, fast service, very friendly staff. It has a wide variety of options and everything we've tried was great.Also try the bakery across the road for great treats afterwards.Kid-friendliness: Have a kids menu with slushies.

Bacon burger with fries. Fries were great. Burger was way too small for $18.50. Beef was fairly tasty and well cooked. The bacon was a clear standout as it was excellent. The vegetables were not plentiful enough and adds to the overall size issue with the burger. Service was awesome - especially my waitress Jessica who I hope to cross paths with again. like the daily deal options and would make a return trip if in the area. Also, the name flat out slaps.

I ventured into Olds from the Olds-Didsbury Airport while working there for a few days. I had the grouchy burger, ?. Grouchy donuts, ?. I went back the next day and eat 6 pork belly tacos, also ?. It's worth the drive, flight, hitchhike to Grouchy Daddy's.
My fiancé and I are here with our two kids for dinner yesterday and the food was amazing! The drinks we good also but my Caesar drink was SUPER rich/salty and my fiancé said there was way too many blackberries in the mojito to drink he had to eat with a spoon. The steaks were fantastic-we lovvvved the lobster bur Blanc sauce with the bread and our chicken wings were yummy and crispy. Gyozas were awesome too! Even the kids pepperoni pizza was good! Defiantly will be back passing though!

We were welcomed and offered seats right away. It's our first time as we just visited this town for a highschool basketball tournament in Olds Christian School. We first went to a famous restaurant for a late lunch but a guy at the parking lot said, it's closed at 2pm so try Grouchy Daddy's. It turned out that it's the best place for family and friends. Feels like we were locals. Keep up the good work.Kid-friendliness: They were thoughtful enough to ask my kids of they need anything else...
Was excited to try the mushroom ravioli with truffle cream sauce. It had so many onions on it they overpowered the truffle flavour. And they were lukewarm too. Spinach dip was tasteless.

This restaurant is excellent on all levels! The food is delicious, the service is fast even when busy, and the staff is courteous and professional. They are very accommodating with substitutions and there so many options. The 6 oz steak beurre Blanc was to die for! Also loved the actual chocolate mints!

I have been to many hockey team dinners but none went as smooth as this one.We preordered and the food was great, came out quickly and the atmosphere was nice too!I would absolutely go here again with or without a team.
