The lamb ribs were cooked and seasoned perfectly, the chicken Tuscany was delicious, the Tiramisu dessert was delectable.
All coupled with great service and a live guitarist.
We have a new favourite place to go to for a relaxing, excellent meal in town now. 🤗

The reviews are polarizing... Some people report amazing food and service, with pictures of amazing food to back it up. Not my experience.

First time in Airdrie my steak was actually done properly!! Food was outstanding. Definitely going back the tiramisu was perfect as was the cheesecake. Finally a restaurant with great food in Airdrie ❤️❤️

If you're looking for home made pasta and great service, this isn't the place for you. We did not have a good experience here.

I had an amazing dining experience at this Italian restaurant! The ambiance is warm and inviting, perfect for a cozy meal or a special occasion. The food was absolutely delicious—every dish was bursting with authentic flavors. The pasta was perfectly cooked, and the sauces were rich and flavorful. The staff was attentive and friendly, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our meal.

I also appreciated the attention to detail, from the beautifully presented dishes to the thoughtful wine recommendations. This place is a true gem, and I can’t wait to return and try more of their menu. Highly recommended for anyone who loves great Italian cuisine!

We took our company here in December. Awful experience. There’s no pizza at “Sal’s Restaurant & Pizza,” food took an hour and was bland and our waitress smelt of alcohol and cigarettes. She was almost overbearingly loud making us think she was drunk. Not our idea of fine dining.

The menu is very authentic but it is mainly just pasta and pizza. I had the gnocchi which was pretty good but one note. Service was excellent and the beautiful live music was wonderful. The tiramisu is amazing!

The Lasagna was bland, and the cheese was rubbery. Server never checked on me once. Absolutely terrible, find an alternative. I have zero issues for paying $28 for Lasagna and a coke. But when you can goto a grocery store and pay 1/2 of that and get a frozen Lasagna that tastes better, that's not a great thing

Zero stars if I could. We visited Sal's Restaurant & Pizza after seeing great reviews, but had a horrible experience. I brought my parents who were visiting from Spain, along with my wife and two kids. Once we sat down and drinks served, we were told they had no pizzas on the menu anumore and should go elsewhere to eat that! Pizza is literally in the name of your restaurant, and we had already checked the menu online. On top of that, the elevator was broken, so we had to carry the stroller up the stairs for nothing. Very poor customer service and extremely rude staff. Absolutely disappointed.

My husband and I had a relaxing and delicious meal with my parents at Sal's. My mother and I shared the calamari, while my husband and father each had escargot. The meal was off to a great start with these appetizers. The Gnocchi Al Forno was the main dish I chose. The tomato sauce was mild and not too acidic. The blend of ricotta and bocconcini over the Gnocchi was to die for. All in all and amazing meal, great service, and relaxing atmosphere.

The menu offers a fantastic selection of classic Italian dishes. The homemade pasta was cooked perfectly, and the limoncello sauce had a rich, authentic flavour.

Overall, Sal’s Italian Restaurant is a gem that delivers on quality, flavor, and service. I can’t wait to return!

Not even 1 star deserves this place.
We were told that the pizza oven was broken and that they don’t have pizza.
LIE !
The place downstairs was serving pizza to the restaurant.
I don’t know why the waiter lied to us, because we wanted to order pizza ? or because we came with kids? No idea ??‍♀️
Italian restaurant and pizza oven broken ? When it was perfectly working downstairs.
We ended up going to Ferraro, delicious food and great service.
