Marble Slab has a ton of flavours listed on Skip that they don't actually have. I ordered Lavendar ice cream from them through Skip and was informed my order could not be fullfilled. When I contacted Skip per their instructions to ask to replace it with another flavour they informed me Marble Slab was only offering Nutella as the replacement option. As that is no where close to Lavendar I asked to cancel the order. They informed me it'd been cancelled. I then drove to Marble Slab. The flavours listed on Skip were not avaliable. Once I selected another flavour they cheaped out on the mix-ins and I had to repeat myself countless times in just asking for it to be in a bowl. I then received a message that my Skip order was not cancelled and returned home to melted nutella ice cream that Skip now refuses to refund. We received poor customer service with our last two visits to the Airdrie Marble Slab. Today the ice cream was also heavy artificially colored with the common colours for the flavours looking completley off, and the flavours being non existent. The ice cream was gummy as if it had frost bite.
Wish I read the reviews sooner as it sounds like skip customers are paying the price for this businesses false advertising and failure to fullfill requests. Skip and Marble Slab are refusing to take any responsibility. We won't be back or ordering from you again.

Was at Marble Slab in Airdrie last night and it was not a good experience. Service and atmosphere were ok. I had the Grape Soda ice cream and it was quite terrible, my wife had Swiss Chocolate with some crumbles added and hers wasn’t any better. It cost around $22 for the both of them and we drove home. When we got home the chemical taste in my mouth from the grape soda ice cream was really bad and her ice cream was no better. We have gone here many times but I am thinking they are now using cheaper ice cream to make the cones. We only ate 5% of the ice cream and both threw them out in the garbage. Will definitely not be going here again. There are some fantastic ice cream shops in Calgary so I guess that is where we will go next time. Also the ones in Calgary are definitely better ice cream and a lot cheaper to buy. I don’t get it, something is definitely wrong with their ice cream.

I think Marble Slab has substituted cheaper brand of ice cream. The grape had a chemical taste to it and was kind of slimy. Also my wife said hers was not good. We got home and both threw out $22 worth of ice cream. We only ate 5% of it because it was just terrible. Normally I don’t give negative reviews but there is something that has changed and it’s not for the better.

Unfortunately not a great time. The ice cream I selected had fridge flavor, and double dark chocolate is not a rarely selected ice cream option. The mix-in portions were much smaller than in other locations, and the radio and fans were loud- so loud it was hard to hold a conversation. Our ice cream specialist only spoke to offer up-sells, but also might not have heard our questions because of the ambient noise. I've heard that they have gluten free options but nothing in store is labeled clearly, so I wouldn't trust it. Pricing is also a bit gnarly. $10 for a kids tiny cup with one mix-in is high! Reasonable if it's actually fresh, but a special- kids cup for 5 with purchase of a bigger cup, for instance - would be fair. All in all we won't be back.

and rude cashier on top of it didn’t want to accept a 50$ bill. Not coming back

The ice cream is delicious, it's always a treat to stop by with the family, especially on a warm day. However, the atmosphere could be more welcoming for everyone. The background audio often features religious content that may not be comfortable or appropriate for a public space. A more neutral and relaxing environment would improve the overall customer experience.

This place never has any ice cream they have posted on skip the dishes. The last 3 times I have ordered they have sent what they wanted or just did not send anything at all. It would be a good idea not to order on skip if u actually want what u ordered!!! My family will never order from here again!!!

Showed up 10 minutes before closing time, stood in the open store a few minutes for them to come out and tell us they were closed with a shop full of other people enjoying their ice cream.

Wanted to get dessert for a dinner for 6. Saw the ice cream sandwiches were a pack of 6. I was a little confused by only having 5 check marks on the box, but I figured they added maybe two of the vanilla. I'm definitely surprised that there were only four sandwiches in the box. Quite embarrassing. Lesson learned, check your box! Lady seemed nice about giving me a discount but considering the regular price is $40, even for 6, it seems steep, let alone 4!
