No doubt the best Japanese restaurant in the Calgary extended area. My family and I are regulars here. The service is 20 out of 10. Food is always fresh and prices are decent.
Stop at Mio for a take out lunch. What an awesome place to go. I had spring rolls, katsum chicken and Sonoma salad. Everthing was perfect. The salad was even wrapped separately. I can't wait to go back. Thanks for great service and an even better lunch.

Very bad place to work at. They talk smackabout you in Japanese when you make a mistake. They are too passive aggressive and annoying. Very stingy with the hours and would ghost you when you ask for schedule. They put a fake personality to the customer of course but to their staff its rude. Can barely understand them when they teach but they become more stingy the more you make mistakes. Some have a very bad attitude when you accidentally bump to them and would be grumpy for the rest of your shift. This place is a fraud and should get the health Inspectors to come in immediately!!!

Mio could be a great place, if they were ever open! This is the third time in a year they have closed for a full month. I feel bad for their staff! Food is 7/10, staff are good.

I absolutely love Mio Sushi, we eat there all the time because the sushi quality and pricing is great! We ate at Mio Stone Grill & Sushi for the first time this week and absolutely loved it! The environment is so serene and welcoming, we felt like we had an amazing meal and a spa day all at once. Fantastic sushi and cooked options to die for (I had the teriyaki salmon bowl and they have beef & chicken as well if you don’t do seafood). Staff were friendly and hospitable. We’ll have to come back to try the hot stone options! New favourite place.
