MR MIKES leaves a lot to be desired. This will be my first and last time here. Upon arriving, we waited in the main area for 15 minutes before being acknowledged by the hostess. We were then told there was a 15-minute wait for our table, which was fine with us, except we found out that the restaurant was only half full…

We ordered a Lodgeburger and the peppercorn sirloin pasta. The burger was pretty average and the pasta was awful. Calling it “pasta” should be a crime, it should’ve been called soup. The macaroni noodles were so soft, it felt like an overcooked macaroni soup. Charging $28 for the pasta is criminal and should’ve been less than $10.

We also didn’t have cutlery to eat with or ketchup for the fries. At least the frozen fries were good and the water was free.

If you’re looking for a mediocre dinner, this is the place to be.

Absolutely shocked with the reaction I just got here for wanting to order some takeout. I get my hair done in Airdrie every couple months and it has become a tradition for me to pick up Mr mikes to go on these days for me and my boyfriend since we don’t have Mr mikes in Calgary. Went in around 6pm today and the place was not full. I asked the hostess if I could order some takeout and she gave me a weird look and said umm the kitchen is really busy. I said I didn’t mind waiting and she rolled her eyes and handed me a menu. A couple mins later someone else comes out and tells me that it is going to be at least 45 mins for food to go. I worked in the restaurant industry for 12 years and never once saw to go food take that long. Not to mention the fact that they had no idea what I was going to order. I ended up leaving because they clearly did not want my business. I honestly can’t see myself returning here which is disappointing because I enjoy the food and have been a regular customer every 2-3 months.

We ordered our food to go! It was ready for us to pick up when we got there, very tasty!

Parking: The restaurant is located in a strip mall easily accessible from the highway, lots of spots available.

We had a party of 5 and the service was great. I am not a big fan of steak normally, but the steak bites were amazing! They were very juicy! Everyone else loved their meal. They only thing o didn't like was the pina colada. In fairness, it is not on the menu but most bartenders should be able to make it. It was more like a pineapple slushy with a very slight hint of coconut.

Parking: I am disabled though I am not in a wheelchair. There was ample, convenient parking for this purpose.

The food was awsome.
I gave 4 stars because the grilled vegetables were over grilled and had no taste. Plus, I expected steamed veggies, like in the photos I saw before I got there.
Note - first time saw pickled green beans in my bloody cezar.

We visited Alberta and wanted a good steak house. Well, this was a superb choice!!! The food was absolutely amazing. We had a large family dinner and our waitress was awesome! We were very happy with the food. Three of us got the steak and shrimp. You will not be disappointed. Kids loved the food too. Lots of selection.
Highly recommend this restaurant!!

Went here for my mother's birthday on Sunday. We were looking for something the equivalent of the keg but in airdrie yet not a pub atmosphere. We arrived for lunch. Low crowd which was great as we could hear each other and didn't havent to talk loudly.
The waitress was very nice to us. Congratulated my mother of her 62nd birthday. The food exceeded our expectations. We absolutely enjoyed the food. My mother is SO picky, she's also gluten free so hard for her to find food at some places. But she did not complain once. Which was great as it was her special day after all. The owners brother came out to check on us twice and even offered to pay for my mother's desert! This place went above and beyond to ensure we had a tasty meal, good service and even a sweet treat on my moms birthday! Thank you SO much for giving her that expiernece and memory. She felt very special indeed.

I made up my own dish, lobster with jumbo shrimp and a double stuffed potatoe.

Oh and the starter was yam fries with a spicy dip.

So yummy! The food is just delicious, flavours really well done. We've never had bruschetta like theirs and we were all so impressed, it may be the best I've had. The entrees were all delicious and unique. Drinks were fantastic, great options. Really under-rated place! We were here years ago and enjoyed it, decided to come back again. I think it's a new fave of ours. Excellent staff as well. An absolute must if you're looking for a chill steakhouse vibe with affordable but above par food and drinks.

It was Mr Mike's? That's not a good or bad thing. It's what I expect from Mr Mike's, it was good as usual. Same as the one we have in my city in BC.
