Pita Basket Airdrie

Excellent food with generous portions! I ordered a small chicken shawarma combo and it was enough for two meals.

My only critique is that the restaurant itself was very warm inside. A bit too much so. I sat by the door so I was in the draft and still very much enjoyed my meal.

Super busy. I'd say the best Pita Place in town. The staff are nice and the food is always good. Very tight sitting area. This is not your place for a Pita date.

$19 for a beef donair???? C'mon...It was good, but at those prices I'll stick to places where the quality is the same and keep 5 or 6 bucks in my pocket.

Came in for lunch with my boyfriend and had a lovely meal. For a small Donair, large Donair, and one drink and the total was $45 so a little pricey but that staff absolutely offset that with the service and quality of the food. We didn't order any fries but as you can see from my image they had brought over our meals with free fries (my image has the small Donair for sizing reference). If you want a quick and super yummy meal with the service and feel of a traditional dine in restaurant then I'd 100% recommend picking here!

Honestly, Peter Basket was really good. I got the shawarma platter and everything tasted super fresh. The meat was juicy, the sauces were actually fire, and the portion size was solid. Service was quick and the staff were nice. You can tell they take pride in what they do. Chef Ro(the owner) is great too—super friendly and you can tell he really knows his stuff. I don’t usually leave reviews but this spot deserves it. Def coming back again.

I’d never seen such good chemistry in a team. Their staff is communicating with each other and food comes out quick! The food was delicious! The place is always busy but the wait time is quick considering how things are run. (Reminds me of Hell’s Kitchen).

I met Chef Ro. He’s a great person! You can tell he cares a lot about his product and every customer the walks in. Highly recommend!

Honestly the Pita Basket is probably the best pita/donair place Ive ever been to. I love food, I love good restaurants and its so hard to find good placed but the Pita Basket is top notch. I couldn't recommend it more!

I came in tonight to a very busy restaurant for my favourite donair fries!!! These guys were ON IT!! They were really hustling and had a good flow. Nobody seemed to be waiting very long, and the food was sooo good. Thank you!!

Ordered the chicken beef mix. The chicken is out of this world with flavour. Pita Basket is absolutely phenomenal! From the moment you step in, it’s clear they truly care—not only about their customers but also about the quality of the food they make. The presentation of the food is top-notch, and despite there being 12 orders ahead of us, (we came right at the rush at 6:20) the wait time was incredibly short—only about 15 minutes!

We ordered a medium Donair, which felt more like an extra-large portion. It was so generous that I ended up asking for a to-go box and enjoyed it the next day—it still tasted amazing! This was my second visit this week to this location, and I also love their other spot in Sunridge.
