Absolutely Delish wow we decided to come here finally on my birthday supper my wife and loved the food flavours they just popped so yummy can’t wait to go back haha . 🤣
Decent food
Disappointed by the food, service, and price. Three meat dishes and mogo were somehow served cold. Would have told the owner if we were able to flag him down, but service was poor with only him serving the entire place. Cherry on top is the 20% recommended tip on their credit card machine. Would like my $100+ back, don’t waste your money.
What a great experience for our first time at Serengeti Shack! For My sons birthday he wanted to try something different and we were both very impressed! The food was amazing, we had beef sambosas that were so good and the Serengeti platter to try a little of many items (each one so so good!) (the naan was awesome!!!) They had a selection of unique ciders that we tried and were good, our server gentlemen was also great and the atmosphere was cosy and unique! We loved it and look forward to going back really soon!!!
My husband and I went for date night to try something new and the food was delicious and their milkshakes were some of the best I’ve ever had! I got the cookies and cream milkshake, and we got the Serengeti platter to share.
Unbelievably good, tons of variety and great gluten free options.
It was a wonderful restaurant with kind staff, Alex and excellent food. We tried chicken Skewer and creamy pistachio curry lamb with naans they both were good but curry with Naan was excellent. Highly recommend this place.
If you’re East African and you’re expecting the East African spices and aroma, you’ll be disappointed.
The food is okay, not what I expected. The meat was bland, could do better with marinating the meat for sure!
Also a group of 5+ is automatically charged 18% tip and can not be split, has to be paid by 1 person…didn’t like that!
I wouldn’t come back if you ask me
The food was delicious. The portion was large. Really impressed and will be back for more
This restaurant is a hidden gem in Airdrie! I am from a small town with no experience eating foods from other cultures and I now know that I have been missing out. The food was so amazing and fresh and the spice blends were just perfect.
A place like this makes me second guess the big chain restaurants that serves nothing but deep fried food. If you dine here you will get fresh, healthy, flavourful dishes that make you feel good on your way out.
Loved it!!!

Great food, Tanzanian decor, attentive service! Enjoyed everything I ordered - beef ribs, a very fresh salad (a meal does not start for me without a salad and its got to be absolutely fresh), kababs, chicken samosas, ugali and pistachio curry, kulfi, and chai!
I loved their food. My favourite were their special chuma beef ribs in the flavour fusion (sweet and hot)! Thoroughly recommend!

Have been to serengeti over and over again. Every occasion the take out is always Serengeti. Enjoy dining in with friends and family because of the serene atmosphere.Their ribs are the best.
Service is amazing. Thank you Serengeti for keeping the Tanzanias taste alive.
