Today, I had one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a Starbucks location. Two employees—a female Indian barista and a white teenage girl—were completely disrespectful and clearly do not understand how payment systems work.

I tried to pay using Apple Pay. They refused and told me, “We don’t take the app here, you have to use the Starbucks app.” First of all, I wasn’t trying to pay with the Starbucks app—I was using Apple Pay, a completely separate, valid form of payment. The fact that these employees confused the Starbucks app with Apple Pay is not just ignorant, it’s unacceptable.

This store has accepted my Apple Pay before, and for them to suddenly refuse it—based on completely incorrect reasoning—shows a shocking lack of training and professionalism.

Then, as if that wasn’t enough, while I was waiting for my drink, I overheard both employees mocking my order, saying things like:

“It’s so much… all of this wasn’t necessary…”

That is absolutely inexcusable behavior. It is not the job of Starbucks employees to gossip about, criticize, or shame customers for what they order. Their job is to make drinks exactly as requested—without judgment, without commentary, and without an attitude.

This kind of rude, dismissive behavior is completely unacceptable and creates a hostile and uncomfortable environment.

I expect this issue to be addressed immediately. These employees need to be retrained or replaced, because their lack of professionalism is a stain on the Starbucks brand. Until this is handled, I will not be returning to this store.

Thank you very much Victoria for the warm welcome, delicious coffee. Who wrote for you below, you don't understand the taste of real coffee, and human attitude from Victoria

Wonderful place! It was a great experience at this Starbucks thanks to Victoria. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and made my visit extra special. She greeted me with a warm smile, took my order perfectly, and even gave a great recommendation for a drink I ended up loving. The coffee was delicious, and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. I truly appreciated her positive energy and professionalism. Thank you, Victoria — you made my day!

Probably the worst customer experience I’ve ever had. Victoria was really rude and had the worst attitude. Have heard from more people that this location has terrible customer service workers. 0/10

The worst drink I ever had. They can’t even make the order right. Got 4 orders of an 8$ coffee and it tasted worse than 1$ McDonald’s coffee. 32$ down the drain. Did not even let you collect the Starbucks rewards. The girls that worked there were clueless. Same on you!

I have been here 2 times.
The first they gave me the wrong order.
The second they could make nothing except coffee.

Skip this place, obviously management issues here.

This location should not even be considered a Starbucks due to it never being open it’s 7:30 in the morning and the worker is on a break. This is the poorest and sadness excuse for Starbucks I have ever witnessed please shut this location down and save everybody the hassle of showing up just to know that you’re closed.

This is the nearest place in my neighborhood, yet I always drive to Starbucks Towerlane Mall because of their steaming hot coffee, and warm hospitality! And I don't mind driving a bit far from my place just to satisfy me with a very hot coffee and warm service at the beginning of my day.The 2 young lady baristas in Starbucks Save-on-Foods were lack of trainings and smiles. When I bought (3x in different occasions) for a medium coffee with 3 creams and 2 sugars... they always served it a little warm or nearly cold. I was upset when I discovered it along the highway when I'm about to sip for the coffee. And that is the very 1st time of a bad morning experience I got. I can't go back anymore because of my time constraints. The next visit, I ordered the same using my own metal Starbucks travelling mug, then when I returned to my vehicle... I sip for a coffee before I drive and still in the parking lot. It was a little warm and not hot! This time, I went back inside to ask for the hot coffee replacement. It was a different young lady barista who entertained me. Maybe the other young barista is on break or went home. Anyway, I told her what happened that time and the last time about the little warm coffee I got, and she figured out immediately that because I asked for triple cream... that makes my coffee to become warm (not hot). Exactly what my point is... you guys knew that if triple or double cream will makes a hot coffee warm because the cream is cold, then why you guys still serve it? Why not make the cream warm or use the steamer in your coffee machine? That's what the Starbucks Towerlane Mall Baristas always did on their coffee preparations. And that's the big difference... serving the coffee hot with a warm smile and tone of voice.Anyway, going back to Starbucks Save-on-Food, I asked the young lady barista to fill up my metal mug with a hot water first because it's winter, my mug is also cold and that will makes my coffee warm too. Then I noticed that she gave me a "make face" when she turned around to the machine. I asked her if she can make the cold milk warm first before pouring it on my hot coffee... she did, but she never smile. She was pissed off I believe... that store usually not busy, because some of your patrons preferred to go to other Starbucks locations. Please train your baristas well with the Starbucks standards and include the work values reminder. I don't mind if the staffs will remain there, as long as they improve the simple coffee service, and to adhere with the proper Starbucks coffee making, preparation and service... I will go back there to regularly buy a coffee every morning, coz of easy accessibility to my place... ONLY IF YOU GUYS IMPROVE!
