Our food was awesome, and came out quickly our server seemed pretty annoyed, abrupt, abrasive and not very helpful. We also have several other servers who helped bring food and drinks at times who were better. Maybe it just wasn't her day. It seemed they wanted us out right away, there wasn't anyone waiting for tables and we did want to stay and have drinks after dinner. It did put a bit of a damper on the evening but we had fun regardless. Really enjoyed the margarita pitchers and the carnitas taco. Would come again and fingers crossed for a different server or the same one having a better evening.
We have been eating here since they were at the other location. highly recommend!
I love good Tex Mex food. The food here is fresh, and healthy, but it’s usually bland, the servings aren’t large, and it’s pricey, for what you get. The recipes change, so I’m never sure what the food will be like, from order to order.
When I eat Mexican food in the US, and in Mexico, it includes an order of nachos and salsa, but not at this restaurant. I usually order some nachos and guacamole or pico de gallo. The nachos are nice, but the guacamole is expensive. Both the guacamole and pico de gallo would be better, if it had some lime, and a bit of a kick.
I usually order take out. Most of the recipes would benefit from the addition of condiments. The fajitas are nice, but would be better if they browned and caramelized the onions, meat and peppers, to give it a nice flavor. The steak needs the fat trimmed off. The fajitas include guacamole, a side of rice, and 3 very small shells, that often fall apart. The shells need to be bigger, or a few more added. I order extra shells, and some pico de gallo - but it makes the meal pricey.
The tacos are bland and dry. They are not always the same recipe. Usually they are a little bit of fish or meat, with melted cheese, and some sauces on the side. Other times, the fish tacos have had some pico, and a little bit of cabbage. The fish tacos would benefit from some crema sauce, and all the tacos need condiments, instead of just melted cheese on top of a little bit of meat. I’d like the tacos to be larger, and include some pico de gallo and lettuce.
I’ve tried a number of dishes, that include taco shells. They have all been pretty much the same as the tacos - just meat with melted cheese on a taco shell, with some sauces on the side, so I’ve been disappointed. The dishes haven’t include pico de gallo, or condiments. Last time I tried the Enchiladas Rojas. They had small shells with chicken and melted cheese - just like the chicken tacos, except the shells were cooked, so they were dry and hard, making them hard to eat. The meal included some rice and beans, and a large container of red sauce, that tasted like homemade tomato soup.
Was pleasantly pleased. Great lunch
I finally tried this place, and it makes me wish I had so sooner!! Everything we had was delicious. The pictures speak for itself self 🤤
Went here a few years ago for the first time and wasn't overly impressed. Friends convinced me to try it again. We sat on their patio which is really lovely. We were greeted by a lovely young man and unfortunately that's where the positive ended. We asked for ice water...nope only paid bottled water...no fountain pop, only expensive cans ($3.50 per can if I recall). I ordered the pico and chips and you get about two tablespoons of pico and a plate of stale chips (plus two spicy sauces, one red and one green) for $10 and guac with chips which was $15. The size of the guac was better than the pico but neither had any flavour - I think they both were missing seasoning. We ordered the non alcoholic margarita which was decent. I've never been to a restaurant that didn't provide at least tap water for free...and I eat at restaurants quite regularly. We likely would have stayed longer and ordered more food, but given that meant ordering more drinks ($$$) we decided to head home instead. Service was quite slow, despite it not being overly busy... Unlikely we'll be back, which is too bad since this place is walking distance to where I live.
Disappointed.. what restaurant does not have TAP WATER.. seriously?
The nacho chips were so hard..it was like they had been reheated a few times.
Won't go back
Delicious! Great service.
A co worker brought me here and it was great! Will be going back.
Second time coming and will be telling friends about this place again.

Very well
In my entire life, I've actually never been to a restaurant that charged for every glass of water. I guess if you're selling spicy food, it's brilliant. But combined with the high prices and mid-food (for example, I'm usually used to Mexican meat and rice to have amazing flavor, rather than being a bit plain). I can't really recommend. I'm not sure if everything is toned down due to the demographics of the area or what, but I usually get Mexican to get super spicy, flavorful food.
If you've never had authentic Mexican food, it's still decent, but I'd say to me, it tasted more like pricey fast food.
Incredible waitresses that work really hard and always great with a smile and great service.
Some of the best Mexican food or food in general for that matter I've ever had.
Praying for the continued success of this business.
Delicious food, very authentic! Owner was very friendly and our server was attentive.
