On a recent visit to the Wendy’s in Airdrie for breakfast, I was initially impressed by the quality of the food and the attentiveness of the staff. However, my experience quickly deteriorated upon attempting to find a suitable place to sit. The first table I approached was visibly unclean, marred by greasy fingerprints and scattered food crumbs. Assuming it was an isolated issue, I checked other tables, only to find similar conditions—food splatter, crumbs, and smudges throughout the dining area. After some effort, I located a relatively clean spot, but the overall state of the restaurant was disheartening. The establishment was not busy, suggesting this neglect likely stemmed from inadequate cleaning by the previous day’s closing staff. This raises serious concerns about the standards maintained in unseen areas, such as the kitchen. The lack of attention to basic cleanliness reflects poorly on the restaurant’s management and operations. While the food and service were satisfactory, the unhygienic dining environment significantly detracted from the experience, making it highly unlikely that I will return. A restaurant’s commitment to cleanliness is fundamental, and this location fell short of even basic expectations.

My first visit to a Wendy's (I'm from the UK). The restaurant was clean and cosy for a fast food establishment, food was better than I expected. Only reason I can't give 5 stars is they gave me the wrong sandwich, but they quickly apologised and replaced it very quickly - great service guys.

I went to this location on July 18th,2025 to buy 3 frosty which should not be more than $4.00 because it was their summer special for 99 cents each when I look at my receipt, they charge me $45.11 please pay attention to your receipt it makes me question how often they do this to their customers.
