Stopped for wings and Donair salad. Salt and pepper wings over cooked and bones all broken. They put sweet sauce in my donair salad( I hate sweet sauce), I asked after they finished my order if they put garlic sauce. The cook was pretty rude, not offering an apology or a solution, just said I should of said something before it was ordered. Pissed me off, bit my tongue and walked out. Thinking they should have asked, knowing they use different sauces. All and all a waste of $30.00. I never post reviews. Pissed me off enough to do so. Will never return.
Taste good
Food is really good.
Spent a week in Athabasca. Ate here every meal lunch and dinner. Zero complaints. The burger was huge. The pizza was delicious down there to die for.
Had lunch here a couple times while in town. Good food and service will be back, when back this way.
Sal's has been great for years. Today when I went in, it felt even better than ever. The staff were so super friendly and kind and the food was made with love, it was so good! Thank you guys for always being the best place around!
Excellent food. Quick, friendly service. Poutine is definitely a shareable size.

Pretty decent gravy n pizza is pretty good also
Food is delicious, the prices aren't too bad and service is fast. They have a TV to watch sports on and it's relaxing.
House special burger was a 10/10 one of the best burgers I've ever tasted
I'm always looking for a good mushroom burger. While on a trip home from Athabasca, I asked a local if there were any good and fast places to eat. He said that Sal's has the best mushroom burgers. Sold! Sal's didn't disappoint. It was the best mushroom burger I've had in decades! The bun was super fresh, the beef patty was big, juicy, seasoned and cooked just right, the mushrooms and mushroom sauce were super flavourful, and the cheddar cheese was a tangy surprise. I've promised my mom who lives in Edmonton and loves mushroom burgers too that we'll be making the ~2 hour trip north so she can try one too. I'll be back!
Excellent food! Just love going there❤️
