When we visited Barrhead to see our wedding venue, we stopped in at De Herdt Gardens, and we knew right away that we wanted Elien to make our cake. It was such a wonderful and special place, and working with her and having someone local was just as special. Elien offered so many delicious options, was incredibly responsive to emails, and even delivered the cake right to us which made everything so easy. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience or a more beautiful (and delicious) cake. Highly recommend!”

“Wow talk about a really nice old fashion Chinese restaurant that you don't see anymore. The food was amazing hot fresh and delicious. The service was great and the atmosphere reminded me of when I was younger. The portions were so much I could only eat half. This is definitely my new place to stop when going through barrhead.”

“Came in from Stony Plain for a visit to your town, and stopped here for a snack. You know how some A&W’s seem to be better/worse than others? Well, this is one of the good ones. Food was on point! Special mention goes to the onion rings… they were fresh, crispy, not all gross and greasy like some other places do. Good job at this location guys!
