This place is incredible. The staff are kind pleasant knowledgeable, and really helpful. Their desserts are amazing. They have a wide selection of all kinds of plants and flowers. It’s a lovely place to go. If you’re feeling low, need seeds, or need to add something beautiful to your home or garden. they also have a lovely selection of drinks and things to eat And lovely scenery and places to sit while you enjoy your items definitely recommend this place. I go here all the time. The owners are also very lovely people and more than willing to help in anyway they can.

De Herdt Gardens is an absolute gem.
The flowers here are amazing and the prices are great. There is an excellent selection and the staff seem really friendly and helpful.
While I did not purchase any flowers or garden supplies, I did stop in to enjoy their bakery and cafe. It was incredible! The coffee is of excellent quality, as are the baked goods. Everything looked incredible and it was hard to select just one item to try. I’ll have to come back again to try something new.
You would never expect to find a place like this in a small Alberta town, but it is well worth the drive from Edmonton.

Excellent greenhouse. Reasonable prices. The quality of plants here are amazing. The atmosphere of being able to enjoy a nice coffee and baked treat at a quiet seating area in the green house is awesome. This place is worth the visit.
Had cupcakes for a birthday party that were made here. No one liked them, unfortunately. The kids wouldn't even eat them. Icing wasn't good. It was buttercream and to stiff and flavor wasn't good. The cup cake was dry and horrible tasting as well. They were expensive and not worth it. Very dissapointing. The store itself is awesome. Great atmosphere and so many beautiful plants. Love that you can sit and have lunch and a coffee when at a green house.

OH MY GOD ITS AMAZING
I’m from Edmonton and because of this place I’m like, “can I move to Barrhead?” Beautiful atmosphere, amazing food at the attached cafe! This place is heaven. Order food and eat it at the tables in the greenhouse.
Also kid friendly with a beautiful play area. Great meeting place for friends or to enjoy alone.
