Excellent experience last night at Chartier. We were celebrating a birthday and our party of 5 were very pleased with the food and service. Well priced for their offering. Will return many times in the future!

The place was Fantastic! The food was amazing! The service was exceptional! Will definitely be back!
We were a group of 8 and were seated in Alices's room. Nice and cozy. We went for brunch. Food was served quickly and everything was tasty. Kiyana made sure to check in with us a few times to make sure everything was good. They have a great set up at the entrance of some delicious baked goods and their popular sourdough bread is always a nice treat to take home.
Haven't had a bad experience at Chartier, and this was no exception. Enjoyed an amazing Chicken Sandwich.
The food is always so yummy here!
So lucky to have such a good restaurant close to home.
The food is delicious. The hash browns with the egg Benny are the best I’ve ever had.
No idea why you would go to a chain restaurant when this place exists.

Excellent service from a friendly team of staff who all enjoy the menu which comes across when you're choosing. We've used this place a good amount of times as they were transitioning 2 different menu's for the season changing which gave us a good selection of choice. We loved the green bean's Chartier style!

Excellent meal we had tonight. We sat at the bar and our bartender/server Mike was fantastic. Took care of us from start to finish. The food was great and large portions. Enjoyable evening and will be back.
True hospitality and great food. I was not able to take a photo of the charming bakery but will do next time we visit. I ordered mussels in creamy garlic sauce which was awesome. The eggs benedict was also delectable. Will revisit and try the bakery next time.

This is that restaurant that if you haven't been you really must go. We live in St. albert but it was my husbands bday so it was well worth the drive. We had the parsnip soup which was awesome and the winter green salad which was also very good. Our main was the sugar shack chicken sandwich and it was sooo good. We shared everything in hopes we would have room for their incredible desserts, but we were too full!
We had a lovely experience with out of town guests. Our server Steph was amazing and went above and beyond to help us procure a favorite that wasn't on the shelf. The food, as always, was incredible. The only negative is that we were in the booths near the bar and the espresso machine was rather loud and the tapping of the grounds was hard. In future we will know to request a table away from there.
After many years of hearing about it, this was our first visit to dine at Chartier. My wife and I were joined by some close friends for dinner and the entire experience was excellent and extremely memorable. From the charming atmosphere and friendly welcoming staff to the the amazing execution of service and absolutely every aspect of the meal. We started with traditional French onion soup and then ordered a seasonal vegetable presentation with baked squash and assorted mixed harvest veggies. Our friends orders the Tourtierre and I had Beef Bourgonais. We all thoroughly enjoyed our dinners and our time here. This honestly was some of the best authentic French Canadian comfort food we've ever tasted. This is really saying something as we've spent considerable time in Quebec and have eaten at several reputable restaurants in that region. Job well done, Chartier! Very much looking to our next visit.
Everything super salty and cold Pasta dish too salty to eat Poutine cold fries cold cheese warm gravy really salty Soup was ok not great Zero desserts left on the menu at 6:30 pm reservation Sourdough and butter was amazing
Ambiance...amazing. Service...incredible. Food...ABSOLUTELY MIND BLOWING. This place has been on my list to try for years and my only regret is not trying it sooner. Such unique flavours and twists on canadian classics. I can't wait for their next seasonal menu to drop!
