First time going to this lovely place. I ordered the Herb Chicken Pot Pie and my Bf had the Risotto. The food was absolutely amazing very tasty and filling. The service was Amazing. The waitress was so sweet. We really enjoyed. Highly recommend and will definitely be returning. They also some Crossaints and baked stuff they we also bought for home. Very Tasty. Great place. Thank you so much we have a good time.

It was our first time visiting Chartier after numerous recommendations. We ended up stopping in for our wedding anniversary dinner, the staff were exceptional and our food was amazing. They even played our first dance wedding song while we enjoyed our dinner! A bit of a drive but the restaurant and bakery were fantastic.

Originally from Quebec, I was looking forward to the smoked meat sandwich - NOT on a bagel so asked for sourdough bread. It was horrible. Also the waitress kept referring to us as "honey" or "sweetie, " did not appreciate it. Will not be returning.
It's a fantastic place, you know? You can really taste that home-cooked food. Plus, the decor's totally unique, like you've stepped back in time. And the service? Top-notch. You'll remember it for sure.

Absolutely loved the place, it’s small and cozy and the attention to details is insane, everything has a place. Our server was fabulous and very helpful to every question we asked. My family and I are from Quebec so english is our second language but our server was very patient with us even though some of us can’t speak English well yet. The food was absolutely incredible! I ordered a salad because I wasn’t feeling too hungry and I thought it would be something simple but this gorgeous salad came and it was just delicious. The poutine is a must try, the fries aren’t too soggy or too dry and crispy, the gravy is great and the cheese curds are a little salty and taste great. Their deserts go by FAST because they’re just delicious. 10/10 we went there twice already and will be coming back!
