I love the cozy vibe of this cafe, I think the locals love it here. We ordered the big breakfast and it was satisfactory. The staff were approachable but not over friendly. We enjoyed our meal.

I’ve visited this place several times, hoping each time that the experience would improve, but I’m still not a fan of the coffee or espresso used. It always tastes watered down and lacks the bold flavor I’m looking for. The food is also underwhelming in both taste and portion size. Overall, it’s not a spot I’m eager to return to.

Super cute casual cafe. The lemon square was just like a slice of lemon with creme brulee flavors, and their London fog is perfect at half sweet with a really nice floral Earl grey blend.

I came into Jef’s Café. Fast, friendly, service and a delicious bowl of potato/leek soup with a great, grilled, cowboy sandwich. Tasty and nutritious. ….and all of this while they were very busy. Good job Jef’s! Thank you.
Stopped in for a leisurely coffee at one of their outdoor tables last fall. For a moment I could almost imagine I was somewhere in Europe! Staff were friendly! No pressure to hurry up - sat at the table for quite a while and was never rushed!

Visiting Beaumont to check out the community as a potential place to live. Wanted to have breakfast but the only places open at 8:30 am were the standard fast food places. Jef's Cafe didn't open until 9 am so we waited around and ended up having a nice breakfast. Lovely atmosphere. Light jazz playing. A few other customers arrived along with us as it opened. Our BLTs were fresh and delicious. Coffee was tasty. We purchased some baked goods for our trip home. Prices are reasonable. Definitely would come back. I would recommend this place, but it would be great if it opened earlier. :)

Decided to stop into Jef's on my work break, because I was craving a Rueben Sandwich, and left with a Rueben, a sausage and egg breakfast Sandwich, and a PB and J, and a treat for about 20$. The atmosphere was clean and quaint, the service was warm and kind, and the food was fantastic. They did a great job, in a short amount of time. Thanks again and I'll definitely be back.

Food was good, but the girl at the counter, Kaia, was insanely rude. Very condescending and sounded so judgy. Just glared. I’ve never seen such terrible customer service. Makes me never want to go there again, which is a shame because the food was good. But hopefully Kaia learns better customer service and isn’t so rude to customers!
Edit: my little sister when to ask where the bathroom was an Kaia was standing there with her arms crossed, glaring, said nothing and just pointed. Seriously disappointing, it’s not hard to put a smile on your face at work.
