I recently ordered the beef noodle soup from Saigon Delights and was very disappointed. The soup did not come with all the usual ingredients, and the broth was extremely bland with very little flavor. It was not what I expected at all.
I called the restaurant to ask about the missing ingredients, and unfortunately the experience got worse. The old man at the front was very rude, raised his voice at me, and told me to go somewhere else next time if I was going to complain. I was simply trying to understand what happened with my order.
Customer service matters just as much as the food. I hope the restaurant works on both the quality of their dishes and how they speak to customers in the future.

Incredible food. Great value. Huge menu with giant bowls of soup. I was told the secret is to get a bowl of coconut rice to add to the soup to soak up a lot of the broth. Lots of Gluten Free options. Best Special Fried Rice that I have ever had.
Highly Recommend!!

This place is one of those rare finds. They have the best lemongrass chicken I’ve ever had in my life.
After Doan’s closed down in Edmonton, I went to nearly every Vietnamese restaurant I could trying to find something even remotely comparable. Nothing came close.
I live on the far north side of Edmonton, and my family and I will happily make the hour-long drive to Saigon Delight just for the food — it’s that good.
It’s not a fancy place, but the food speaks for itself. Hands down, the best Vietnamese restaurant in Alberta.

Very poor service.
The man who seemed to be the owner offered no service whatsoever.
Food was brought out, but there was no follow-up or attention afterward until payment.
Unfortunately, this was a very unpleasant experience, and I do not plan to return.

Best Satay soup in the area. I’ve tried all the ones in Sherwood Park and keep coming back to this one, even if I have to drive far for it.
Prices and portions are good.
Over the years the facility slowly began to show wear and tear.
It’s always the same gentleman serving. He’s a man of few words but gets the job done.
If you are looking to be doted on by the server then this is not the place for you.
If you just want a great soup and then to move on then this is definitely the place.

I love a restaurant where the staff leave you alone to eat. I can see why some people misinterpret the mannerisms of the staff here.
The good that I had was fantastic and top notch, measuring up to the best pho in Edmonton.
Please don't let arrogant reviews from entitled people prevent you from trying this place

Stopped in to Siagon Delights for lunch with my wife and we weren't greeted with a smile or a hello. A gentleman told us to chose where we wanted to sit and that was fine. He then brought us menus and walked away. He came back a few minutes after and asked if we were ready. Luckily we had an idea of what we were going to order beforehand thanks to Google. Our appetizer, Green Onion Cakes, came out fast and was fresh, delicious and hot! They definitely hit. Our dishes came out 5-10 minutes after and looked amazing. I ordered the Seafood & Mixed Vegetables Stir-fried Rice Noodle dish (#63). The portion size was more than fair and the taste was on point 👌🏾 All flavor notes were correct. Our server was not communicating with us at all and that ruined the experience. No eye contact, smiles, head nodding or anything and that's unfortunate because the food was great. Kind of stuck between a rock and a hard place on this spot. Not sure we would visit again but I'd definitely like to thank the chef for the quality 👏🏾

I should know better as the owner asked me if I was there before as ppl return their food. I said no, took my tofu and left. It wasnt that bad so a few days later I've decided to order take out. Over $60 in the garbage. I actually returned it. Not enought it wast what I thought im getting it was smudged in some arrange tasting gooey sauce. Would never come back.
We have ordered from here numerous times and we love it, great fresh food. If you haven’t tried it you should you won’t be disappointed.
Food here is amazing!!! The vermicelli bowls, the beef soup, salad rolls....so good!! Great portions at very good prices!! Highly recommend!!
Excellent option for Vietnamese. Whether it be soup or bowls
A very disappointing bun bo hue, made from chicken stock and very little ingredients. Bean sprouts were warm and limp, not fresh.
