THE BEST NACHOS! All the food that we’ve had is excellent (tacos, sandwiches, nachos), the atmosphere is lively and the beer is delicious. My favourite place to eat.

As we were in Beaumont so we decided we would visit the Sea Change location as we really like their beer. We have visited their location in Edmonton previously and thought it would be nice to try this place out. We sat outside initially however the wind did pick up and it was a little cool so they moved us inside. Our server was very nice and we really enjoyed chatting with her. We placed our order for beer and food and while the beer came relatively quickly, the food was delayed. I had to actually ask her for an update and it appears either our server forgot to enter the food or the kitchen missed the order, so that meant we waited quite some time before we got our nachos. Our server had suggested adding chicken to it, however when we were part way thru it I realized they had forgotten to put the chicken on it. As well the nachos were barely warm when we got it so that was disappointing. The server had been busy so she had not checked in with us and I did mention it once we got her attention. She did not charge us for the chicken and also gave us a discount for the confusion on the order. I did buy a t-shirt and some beer so the trip there worked out. This place is worth visiting.

Management reached out after my review and we discussed things. They offered to make amends on my next visit to Seachange and comped my party. Though it took some time to respond back and forth, management was indeed generous and service was very good the following visit. (note: Edmonton tap room, did not go back to Beaumont). Btw, the banh mi with pho dip is very good there.

Been a few years since I’ve been there. Beer was awesome as always. But beef barbacoa tacos couldn’t have been more uninspiring. Served as four mini tacos, beef was dry, a few wilted cilantro leaves, three small 1-inch slices of carrots for four tacos, and a minimal sprinkling of diced onion between all four tacos. Won’t be getting food there ever again. My wife had the shrimp quesadilla, she said it was “basic and ok.”

Jade, our server handled a volatile customer so well. She was calm and professional while he was rude and abrasive. He walked in a few moments before us and seemed to have very little patience and was even scowling at other guests. Jade offered him another server but he left. She continued to serve us (table of 5) and 3 other tables with ease. The food was good as usual.
We walked out just now. We were seated and then after that we sat for 15-20 minutes waiting to be acknowledged and to get even a menu. The other day we had great food there too but the service was similarly awful. One server for entire pub and all she took was our order and a food runner brought every drink and the food to us and we paid up front without getting a bill after we ate and the experience felt a lot like serving ourselves. It was very impersonal. The setup is very open and with huge slab tables and isn’t very inviting. Good food and beer though. But experience wise it sucked. I’m not returning after being ignored there today and leaving hungry and thirsty and we went across the street to eat at Sugar and Spice instead.

I did not get chance to visit the actual brewery so I cannot comment on that but I have been staying in nearby Leduc for the last 2 nights and each night I had the Sea Change Irish Red Ale in bars here, it is an excellent beer, well done.

Great vibes in this place. Joined some friends for a drink and a chat. Lovely atmosphere and service is on point. I don't drink but I sure wanted to try some of the offerings of beers on the menu, they sound so appealing and yummy. Nice to see the ice cream freezer next to the beer fridge at the front, I will grab a seachange collab ice cream next time!
