After the 3rd bad order in 2-3 mths I'm now totally fed up. Normally Calgary but this time in Black Diamond my 'meal deal' of a chubby chicken burger meal was despicable. Could not take it back as was 5km from location when ate it. There was more coating than chicken. The coating was like ROCK all around - not stretching it a bit. The meat inside was like leather, grossly over cooked - I firmly believe it was 2 days old on the warming shelf, seriously. The iced tea was watered down - trust me I know what iced teas taste like.
2 hrs later my guts were rumbling - good thing I was back home, had the runs. For the record, it was 3;45pm when bought and my first food of the day.
And this was what I got for a more than outrageously over-priced $17+ piece of crap food; while other f/foods are closer to $12,
A&W is clearly most expensive place going, and after 40+ years of faithful fav. #1 choice at over 8 different cities, I AM OUT - WAY OUT with A&W, period. Over priced - crap and consumer rip-off more than once. But we know where this review will go...unnoticed by you (A&W).

Extremely disappointed with the customer service at this A&W location. Not only was my order taken incorrectly, but when I politely pointed out the mistake, the staff completely denied it and refused to fix it. No apology, no accountability, just an unwillingness to make things right.
This kind of attitude ruins the entire experience. As a Canadian company, A&W should be representing Canadian values like respect, honesty, and integrity, not treating customers like they don’t matter. It honestly felt like all they cared about was completing the transaction and moving on, regardless of whether I was satisfied or not.
Very unfortunate. I used to enjoy coming here, but after this experience, I won’t be returning.

A&W is the kids favourite place so we have eaten at many throughout Alberta. The Diamond Valley Location is ALWAYS clean, the food is hot and fresh no matter what time of day. The staff are friendly and kind, patient when the kids want to try and order or pay. At least 1/4 of us has been sick after eating at one A&W location or another but despite 50ish visits since this location opened we have never been sick.
Despite being a chain restaurant the Diamond Valley location sets a bar unmatched by any other in our location.

Staff are good but delivery to table is appreciated. If you like we can stand around the counter until the order is ready and clog up the ordering area. Previously you delivered and we removed the empties, however this procedure could be reversed.
