One of the worst experiences ever, ordered my food, took forever to get it, and only after leaving the drive thru did I realize I’m missing half my order. Don’t ever go to this location, staff sucks at there jobs

Slow and getting to expensive. I could go get real food for those dollars. Portion size getting smaller. McDonald's has gotten to far away from what it was meant to be. Quick,cheap,someplace to grab a treat.

One star because for the most part, this location was always good to me I use to go here daily for coffee. Then an accident in the drive thru led to absolute distrust. The manager of this location promised me that they would cover the expenses incurred from the accident. So naturally I proceeded with corrections and repairs. Sent my receipts in and had the ‘regional manager’ as she said on the phone (actual title in email signature was Communications and Events Lead) respond with, ‘We have reviewed the video and it is clear that the cup was handed correctly by our staff, however the lady in the car grabs the coffee by the top with one hand and the side with the other which pushes the lid off and causes her to squeeze the cup. (I grabbed the cup by the side and tried to catch it with my right hand as it started to collapse) Unfortunately this is what caused the coffee to spill. For that reason, we cannot accept any liability. If you would like to discuss further please feel free to contact me.’ We requested the footage and were told that they were not permitted to show me. But why bother with any of it? If the footage had found me at fault, why not say that up front? That’s okay, I don’t fully understand the law protecting that but it does exist (and seems to protect those in the wrong from where I’m standing). But why make false promises to pay for repairs only to throw that in our face once we submitted the receipts. If the cup was handed to me correctly, why did the manager of the location tell me that she had a meeting with the staff to discuss handling situations like mine and how it was handled incorrectly and promise me that she was to have the same meeting with the staff of the next shift. ‘What happened and the way it was handled was unacceptable.’ Why ask me to provide receipts and promise to help rectify it? Why not just say, up front, we reviewed the footage and you were in the wrong so ‘you’re on you’re own’?
So as long as you’re careful, attentive and ensure you couldn’t possibly ever be in the wrong if something went wrong, you’ll be fine in this drive thru.

My favorite place to go for coffee the people here are always kind and friendly to me. You don’t have to hope for kindness here, depending on who’s working, they all are happy to see me and that’s what brings me back. Absolutely no problem getting my coffee how I like it. The staff are always happy and cheerful even if I’m not feeling well. Food has always been good. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

This is probably one of the worst mcdonald's I have ever been too.
The service is always so incredibly slow. Even when the drive thru is empty.
Doesn't matter how much I order, I always get sent to the reserve window or parking spaces and end up waiting 10-15 minutes, and then my food is barely warm when I receive it. The fries are usually stale and either unsalted or way too salty.

Recently ordered a 6 piece nugget meal. Got home and only got 4 in the box.

Most of the staff are very friendly.

Ordered a burger patty was cold but whole burger was warm. So greasy just pulled it out the bag and I could see the colour of the burger. Due to greasy made the wrapper clear. They don’t even mix the ice creams. Don’t recommend.

Looking at the reviews, I'm either never here when the 'rude' staff are on, or folks who have a positive experience rarely leave a review.

I've ate here every couple weeks for two years and always see someone cleaning, active and polite management, and otherwise diligent staff. It is rare that they make a mistake on my order, despite multiple modifications.

Of course, there are the common downsides of eating in: Loud beeping and numbers being 'served' early to benefit their performance score, but that is par for the course at McDonalds in general.

Waited 13 mins at the front counter for a simple McDouble. I had cash so needed to go to the front counter. Then continued to wait another 5 mins. upsetting.

months ago around 2 am my friend and I got horrible food poisoning from a mc chicken. We thought it would’ve gotten better but it seriously hasn’t. just waited 27 minutes for a mc flurry and employees looked at me and said nothing. it’s melted.

This place was very disappointing and frustrating trying to order from. I thought when they first started they would improve over time but they sadly have not. They messed up putting in my order multiple times then I had to wait a very long time. Once I got my food I checked and 3 sandwiches out of the order were missing which is crazy to me. So I went back In and they just giggled it off. I was there for over half an hour. Just not acceptable in my opinion.

If this is the McDonald's at Red Deer on gasoline alley. I didn't get anything because I couldn't get the person to understand what I wanted. Asked him for the Sausage and Egg McGriddles meal. Asked me if I wanted a hashbrown with it. Told him it came with the meal. He asked again if I wanted a hashbrown with it. Same thing with the drink. Told him twice more, a meal came with hashbrown and juice or coffee. Wound up canceling the order and went to Blackfalds McDonald's instead.
