We arrived at this very nice restaurant after a 6-day drive from home. We were warmly welcomed by Nadine, who is an excellent server, and who explained the extensive menu to us. She delivered first class advice, and professional service during our delicious meal. The food was outstanding in every aspect: fresh, hot, tasty and exactly as advertised in the menu. What a lovely gem of a restaurant in Blairmore! Should our travels ever bring us back here, Ben Wongs is definitely on the itinerary! Highest possible recommendation. PK

The food was amazing and all fresh. The portions are huge but that’s amazing for the price. Highly recommend getting the green onion cakes but you will have to ask since they aren’t always available. They have such a huge menu there’s something for everyone. Best Chinese restaurant I’ve ever been.

I was definitely disappointed tonight in the buffet. I arrived at 7 pm and most trays were empty or the meat had been well picked over. I waited almost 45 minutes before they finally brought out some more rice and some ginger beef. The rest sat pretty much empty until I left at almost 8 pm. I filled up on wonton soup, 2 chicken wings, 3 heart-shaped pieces of jello, a sesame ball, and some ginger beef, when it finally came out, just before I left. I know I didn't come too late, as their buffet usually goes to 8:30 - 9pm. I should have just ordered off the menu. Not sure why they weren't on it tonight. I guess everyone has an off night.

I get it. It’s a basic Chinese Food restaurant. But here’s the thing - I’ve eaten in a lot of different Chinese food restaurants, so this isn’t my first try. This tasted below what I’d expect to find at a basic Chinese food restaurant. The food was hard to finish. The sauce on all items was way too sweet and sour - acrid, almost. The rice was fine, but the other items (ginger beef, sweet and sour pork, lemon chicken, deep fried shrimp) all had the same overly bitter/too sweet sauce. The battered shrimp was mostly bread…very small shrimp. And the price was $20 a plate! For a meal that seemed to be of that quality I’d feel better paying 12 to 15. Better to save your money and go to Soo Sushi down the road.

It’s such a beautiful place to eat and relax! We feel home after driving a long way from Quebec! The owner and the waitress are very friendly, we had a good talk! I was yelled at for asking to make a substitution on a take out order. A simple, polite ‘We do not allow substitutions’ would have sufficed. Had it not been for my senior parents, we would have walked out. Food was just ok.
They need to deliver again! They had a delivery lady for years, she retired. Now they simply wont replace her! Dont order from here if you expect delivery. I just had to pay $25 for a a taxi to deliver for them, RIP OFF. $20 dollars a plate, plus $25 delivery, equals HUGE RIP OFF

Friendly and inviting little restaurant in Blairmore with a huge menu featuring all the Chinese and even some Western classics. The Singapore style noodles come in a huge portion with lots of fresh cut and hot wok-fried veggies, pork, chicken and shrimp. The appetizer portions are also huge. Keep up the good work in this spot that seems like a favourite for both locals and travellers

If you are in Blairmore you should come to Ben Wong's. If you are not in Blairmore you should immediately come to Blairmore to eat at Ben Wong's. The food was delicious especially Singapore noodles. The owner Jodi is so friendly and very funny. We can't wait to go back.

We had such a great experience at Ben Wong in Blairmore! Jodi took care of us and was absolutely amazing — so friendly, warm, and genuinely fun to chat with. She made our stop feel extra special.
The food was delicious across the board — we ordered salt and pepper pork, Szechuan noodles, Singapore curry noodles, sweet and sour pork, and stir-fried vegetables. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and hit the spot after a long day.
