Food was good, average Chinese food. There were only 2 people working so service was slow which was ok, but they were not very friendly. The restaurant was so cold we all wore our ski jackets the entire time whoch wasn't the best experience. Other places we went to were plenty warm during the cold snap

Have ordered take out a few times. The food has always been superb. Everything is fresh and flavourful. The value is reasonable for what you receive.

This is legit some of the BEST Chinese food I have had. The ginger beef was crispy, the sauce on the lemon chicken was delectable, the beef Shanghai noodles were saucy and satisfying, and the special fried rice was solid. Our whole family went, and all of us were impressed - and this was in comparison to the “big city” restaurants in Edmonton. Highly recommend.

I think a lot of the 1 star reviews expect to be waited on hand and foot, and their food to be exactly how they want it (if you don't like the food, cool. It's your opinion. Be kind next time?). This is a small town Chinese restaurant... they have one woman running around doing EVERYTHING and one (Maybe two) chef's cooking things up.

This place would do exceptionally well in a large city like edmonton or Calgary. Food was absolutely fantastic and they helped us whenever we asked. We have family that just moved here, and whenever we come to visit we will come here every single time.

Thank you!

Was quite disappointed isn the meal we had picked up for take out. The dumplings were just fried frozen gyoza with no sauce provided.
The pad Thai was a mushy mess with only noodles and few pieces of chicken and shrimp.
And the BBQ and veggies while was very tasty barely had any pork in it at all. Wouldn't recommend these three dishes. I don't know about the rest of the menu though.

Amazing amazing food! Best Chinese food I’ve ever eaten. Even though I am from like 5 hours away, I’d definitely come here again ❤️

I was passing by and wanted to try and support a Chinese restaurant.
Ordered the beef Chowmin, tasted good but the meat tenderizer was a bit too much for the beef.
No cutlery or napkin was given in the take out, I asked and the lady threw it on the counter.
I hope they’ll use comments as a way to improve and continue to offer quality food and services to the community.

The wonton soup here is absolutely delicious! And the stir-fried chicken, beef, shrimp, and vegetables on the top are super healthy too.

Worst racial bias experience ever!

I’m a Chinese Canadian, visiting Blairmore in July long weekend. Choosing this restaurant hoping to enjoy some back-home flavour.

We know what to expect in a westernized Chinese restaurant, but food here still blowed my mind. Salty, oily, over cooked, even sauce is not evenly spreaded. Even my kid asked “why some beef piece is so salty and some has no flavor?”. ‘Sichuan style beef’ tastes the same like another dish ‘stir fried vegetable’. It has nothing to do with ‘Sichuan style’. People from Sichuan province would feel insulted.

Service we received is the worst part:

(1) we asked for hot water because I was having a stomach ache. The owner said “we don’t have it, we have to boil it, Chinese people have a lot of problem, white people only drink cold water”

(2), we asked if the food can be made less salty because we have young kids, owner said “I can’t guarantee, it’s hard to control, here white people like salty food”

(3), we asked for plain steamed rice, owner said “we don’t provide that because white people only eat stirredfry rice”.

(4), at this moment I was very upset with the poor service attitude, but still try to calm down, telling myself maybe that’s just a personality thing, maybe she treats everybody like that. Then a white costumer walked in picking up some food. The owner changed to a completely different person! The warm heart attitude, greeting and laughter sounds like she’s talking to a queen.

(5) feeling discriminated, I decided not to tip. The owner was upset, and made us return the baby high chair to where we helped ourselves find and clean it.

I was about to start a fight, then my wife stopped me, saying “we have 3 young kids, we don’t want trouble”.

I’m a construction worker, I’ve been dealing with harsh language all the time, no problem. But when my wife and kids got involved in this kind of situation, I lost my sleep for days.
