Great food and beverage, super nice server! Large outside dining area with plenty of umbrellas! The puppy seating area is really nice!

German menu, but woth a modern touch. We had eggplant schnitzel. Solid beer selection.

We had an amazing time at Bav Tav in Bragg Creek, all thanks to our server, Lauren! Even though we didn’t have a reservation, Lauren greeted us with a smile and made sure we were taken care of from the moment we walked in. Her attentiveness and warm personality truly elevated our meal.

The food was delicious (definitely try the schnitzel!), and the cozy, rustic atmosphere made for a perfect evening. Lauren’s recommendations were fantastic, and her friendly, efficient service made us feel like VIPs. It’s rare to find such genuine hospitality, especially when dining last-minute!

Authentic and Delicious German Cuisine!

The Käsespätzle were absolutely incredible – rich, cheesy and full of flavor. The Cordon Bleu was just as good, perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. On top of the amazing food, the service was warm, attentive and welcoming. I can wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for genuine German comfort food!

Very tasty food. Our group had the Wiener schnitzel very good. Bison rouladen tender and tasty. Pork jager also tasty.

It was our first visit, but it won't be our last! Had a wonderful meal. Tentative staff who answered all of our questions, not only about the menu but about the restaurant too. Each of us had different entrees and accompanying beverages. The cordon blue was cooked perfectly and the mushroom sauce topped it perfectly. This sauce was also amazing on the Spätzle, which was light and fluffy. The side dish of red cabbage was scrumptious and was highlighted with cinnamon. Yummy. Another dish was wiener schnitzel, which was crispy and so tasty. Our third meal was the bison rouladen. The meat was so tender, tasty, and filled with perfectly caramelized apples. To top off the meal, the most spectacular coffees were enjoyed alongside apple streusel with vanilla icecream ABS whipped cream. The Bav + The Tav is a gem!

Love it! But, of course, it's expensive. Food very tasty (had pork medallions with spaetzle). Were out of pickerel 😪 >$40. Revisited after 3+ years - from MB. ☺️ worth the trip ☺️ and not noisy

Vegetarian options: To those that hate vegetables- EAT YOUR VEGETABLES! Even enjoyed my roasted Brussel sprouts.

Wheelchair accessibility: Have a lift. Bathroom has space. Left my walker in car. Nicely graduated steps (few) with railing quite doable for me.
