The Powderhorn Saloon

We took our family out last night, Sept. 30 th 2025, there was 5 adults and we arrived at 6:45 pm. Ordered food and drinks. An hour later as we watched another table that arrived well after us , receive their food, we asked where our order was? Waitress was very apologetic and said it would be out soon. About 15 minutes later, our order was delivered and was extremely cold , the gravy that was an extra was congealed. The waitress was advised and she took the food away, and returned 10 minutes later with hot fresh food. I fully believe they cooked the food and forgot to bring it out. The waitress was trying hard , but no management in sight. No offer to comp anything, only a “I am so sorry “ from waitress. Sad experience !

Been here numerous times. The food is always great and the service is top notch. Good value for the money. Had the cheesburger special today. It was excellent. Homemade burger pattie and fries.

Nicely decorated bar however the service was missing a beat..There was literally no hospitality . There was one lady with blonde hair tied up that seemed to have a good pace but she was serving on the other side. . The nachos were covered in over cooked taco meat that didn’t taste very fresh . Big disappointment . The women’s washroom was dirty and unkept with toilet paper all over the floor . Nice bar but we won’t be back

I’ve been coming out here for many many years. The food has always been top notch. I’ve tried all the burger variations and never had a bad experience. Today was the campfire burger and it was delicious. The fries were fresh cut and served hot. The burger the same. A big two thumbs up for Jennifer,the day shift server. She’s always been friendly and very cordial to me and the few friends I’ve brought out there. If you wanna great burger,make the short drive to Bragg creek and sit on the shaded patio. You won’t be disappointed.

Neat place for a drink and snack. The fries were really great and they serve lots of local beers and ciders. I'm looking forward to trying a meal. Service was awesome, especially on a busy afternoon.

Loss of one star for cleanliness - the fabric on the booths is really gross, the windows desperately need cleaning, and there was a lot of dirt and debris under our table at 11am.

Our favorite stop after any activity in the area. Service has always been great and the food is top notch. Currently hooked on the beer (Pink Velvet) and burger combo!

My wife and I loved the food and service so much we went back a second time during our visit in Bragg Creek! Kelly was friendly and attentive, the food was all fresh (amazing fries), and the ambiance was like stepping back through time; very cool!
