Extremely disappointed today.. I went in to grab fresh hamburger and they only have it frozen. What kind of a meat market doesn’t have fresh burger? I remember this place fondly because we always used it from the 80s to 2016 because my husband was a hunter and we always use this place to do our sausage etc. I guess I won’t be coming here anymore a lot has changed in five years

Ironwood serves delicious locally sourced menus for all occasions - as well as daily food specials served at the meat shop!
When I was visiting my son I went and pick up some steaks they were great can't get any steaks like that in Ontario I definitely would go back there on my next vist

A Sunday drive brought us to this lovely little town. We were not disappointed with our stop at the Old Country Sausage. We were attended by the owner who when asked, declared that everything was her favourite as her husband prepared it all! We left with German Bratwurst, beer pepperoni, pepper bacon (thick slice) and beef jerky. Everything was delicious. We’ll be back to sample some of the other items on display like the frozen pot pies and the wall of preserves and other delectables.
