Big fan! The folks here are sweet and their timing estimates for when your food will be ready is pretty dead on. Their Donair and sweet sauce are delicious (recommend getting an extra sweet sauce on the side). I prefer a donair with just tomato, onion and sauce, no cheese or lettuce. Also love their Donair Pizza. I get it with the sweet sauce instead of tomato sauce base. The Chicken Supreme pizza is another winner, we get it with the Ranch sauce base. I like it the way it comes regularly, but also like it with no Tomato and add sausage. If you're in town or just passing through, give them a try. You won't regret it

Based on reviews we expected something better than what we received, friendliness didn’t experience it, good food? Not here, my burger was made on a stale bun with mushrooms cooked in a sauce that was funky in a not so good way, grilled cheese made with processed cheese was tasteless. Never offered refills on drinks. Definitely won’t be back.

Was in town for a few days working with a film crew. Let me tell you, Grasshopper restaurant is a Calmar must! Not only are you greeted by the friendliest husband and wife duo, you also get very large portions for what you pay for. They were extremely attentive to our large order and offered service with a smile. The donair sub I had at lunch was very filling, the next day I came back and tried their delicious pizza! If you are passing thru or stopping by, be sure to try grasshopper restaurant! Ill be sure to come back!

Came to Calmar from Edmonton for lunch. Found this place, and it was excellent. Simple food, done well, which is all I can ask for from a restaurant. If we ever find ourselves in Calmar again, we will be back.
