Let me start by saying this: I eat at Kim’s Vietnamese Lunch Bar an average of three times a week—and for good reason. Without a doubt, it’s the best spot in town.
If you’re craving a meal that feels like a warm hug from your childhood, Kim’s is the place to go. The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and made with love. My personal favorite? The spicy pork sandwich. It’s so good, I genuinely dream about it.
The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making every visit feel like you’re coming home. The shop itself is always spotless and filled with the mouthwatering aroma of authentic Vietnamese cooking.
Whether you’re a regular or a first-timer, Kim’s is a must-visit in Camrose

I visited for the first time today. I had the beef satay soup. I will start by saying/warning that it does not taste anything like a satay. I cannot really describe the taste but there was a very cabbagey taste to it. I then noticed stringy things in the soup that tasted very strong of cabbage. I have never had that in a satay soup, and in my opinion overpowered the dish. I was not a fan of the fake meat in it either. There were pieces of real meat, but also big chunks of processed fake meat. Certainly not a fan of that. Further, there were little to no veggies. The weird stringy stuff and a few cucumbers were all I tasted. There were no sprouts, or even a lime to give it a flavor kick. I love trying all sorts of phos/satays, and I have to say this ranked very near the bottom for me. Was not a win at all. I hope their other menu items hit, because this did not at all for me. I hate spending almost $20 bucks on something that misses this bad.
