We make the stop in Camrose, from Grande Prairie, once or twice a year, specifically to ride the mirror lake train and pay a small arm and leg for a delicious tasty treat. After our experience today with the rude lady working the counter, it’s the last time that we will be back as I think she’s either an owner or a manager. Either way, to snap at customers and belittle trainees infront of customers, loses my business plain and simple and can’t even recommend the place anymore. I can understand people having a bad day, but to be flat out ugly to everyone around you, you probably should have called in sick if your day was that bad. Our total bill for five waffle cones, a cup and a mini me was $41… kindness is free though and goes a long way! To the young man who served us ice cream, I hope you don’t need to share your $15 tip with her because I paid that cash for YOU and your friendly service. You did amazing and even through I knew you wanted to dip behind the counter and not come back up, you kept going and you were positive and friendly the whole experience even though noticeably rattled. Kuddos to you, keep doing what you do!

Got a double scoop of maple nut and coffee in a cup. The maple nut was good, but the coffee didn't quite do it for me. 3 stars for the ice cream, but the staff were accommodating with my request for the cup (they don't usually offer double scoops in a cup). Price-wise, it was on the pricey side for me for what I felt like I was getting.

Awesome place to stop for a break on our mid summer road trip! Service was quick and friendlym there was a big line up but it moved fast. The Mirror Lake Park is also the perfect location! Will definitely stop again next time through Camrose.
