I had no idea this hidden gem existed until I stopped in on a Tuesday looking for lunch and wow,!The Lefse House did not disappoint! I grabbed the Taco Tuesday special (delicious!) and noticed they had frozen dinners in the freezer, so I snagged a few to try later. Just finished the turkey dinner and honestly 10/10 comfort food. Real food, made by real people who clearly love what they do.
This place is a Scandinavian bakery and lunch spot with all the good stuff: hearty soups, homemade wraps, lefse, cookies, cinnamon buns, and more baked goodness than my willpower can handle. Everything tastes like it came straight from Grandma’s kitchen (if Grandma also ran a five-star café).
The staff are friendly, the food is fresh, and the prices are fair. It’s downtown just west of Ken's furniture easy to miss, but unforgettable once you’ve been. I’ll definitely be stocking my freezer with their frozen meals.
If you haven’t been to The Lefse House in Camrose, stop what you’re doing and go. Your stomach will thank you, your coworkers will get jealous, and you’ll never look at fast food the same way again. Oh and They Cater too! Order for the whole office!

Where do I start?
The food is great but for some people they may find it strange or different.
I cannot recommend the cookies and lingon berry puffs enough.
The service is good and you never have to wait for someone to come check on you or assist you, including at the till.
The atmosphere is a little bit on the bland side for a café but it certainly has a Norwegian feel.
Overall it's a nice place and evn to this day I recommend stopping by to check it out.
Same price as most other restaurants and you get the satisfaction of a delicious home cooked meal while supporting a local business
My team was in Camrose for volleyball and my dad got us some desserts for my team and they were so good! Definitely recommend to try this place!!

Today, at Battle River Implements, we had Holly deliver a grand meal for the staff. It was amazing as always. She brought us a great selection of excellent food and the desserts were fantastic. If you are looking to bring a meal in for your staff or looking for somewhere to stop in and eat, The Lefse House is highly recommended. Thanks again Holly for the great lunch.
Always amazing food. They have a wide selection of breakfast and lunch options. Although it doesnt look like much from thr outside this little bakery offers a wonderful experience and culture. I have been many times and would say not everything on the menu is for everyone but you can always find something youll like. The baking is to die for. My favorite are the sandbakelse with the lemonbutter. The cinamin buns are good. There is a small gift section to look through as well. The people working here are always extremely sweet and welcoming. Just look at the more negative review from 4 weeks ago. They offered a gift card to try something else to make up for a bad skipthedishes order. They really care about the quality of service.

Feels less and less Scandinavian each time I visit. Used to have a lot more gift items.

Ordered from Skip the Dishes so providing full stars for both service and atmosphere by default.
Ordered a Reuben sandwich, with some crackers for just over $18.
While the sandwich was good, there was nothing special about it. I know the cost of ingredients have sky rocketed, but I do expect more for $18. The sandwich was tiny, there was little meat. The bread was a bit soggy from the pickle speared on top.
I have heard that the Lefse House is better for the bakery and treats, so I might try again for that reason and update my rating, but I wouldn't order lunch again.
