Saturday 15, 2025 ..Approximately 6-6:30 pm . Husband picked up our order and he said there were only two tables eating in restaurant.
Ordered two orders( #2 and #5 for one person) plus two spring rolls. Everything we had tasted like OLD deep fry oil!
Spring rolls over cooked and black. All the meats were so tough we could not cut through nor chew. The chow mein was cabbage and dry noodles. The rice had dried out pieces of chicken ( I think it was chicken) Nothing tasted good. Everything was awful.
Returned all to get our money back. Approximately $50.
Go eat somewhere else. This place is truly awful!! đ¤˘đ¤˘đ¤˘

Stopped for lunch, ordered from menu the Sesame Chicken with Honey and Shrimp Fried Rice with 2 egg rolls. Egg rolls looked like a McDonalds turnover -folded and were crunchy outside with the consistency of oatmeal inside. Barely edible. The chicken was DISGUSTING! So fried it was chewy and it looked like calamari with sesame seeds dumped on it. I tried it and told my husband not to eat it. We shared the Shrimp Fried Rice. However the worst part of the experience was the way the staff(Asian) treated the Native American woman who came in and asked for a to go container for one for the buffet. She partly ignored her and sent her to the plate area. The Native American said again about a 2 go and the staff waived her to a table. The Native American woman sat her plate on the table and then asked again for 2 go and the staff said âwhy you not want to eat here, you already set your plate down and dirty thisâ the Native woman said again 2 go and then she joined another and sat in the front of the restaurant until someone gave them a 2 go container. First the staff was SO INCREDIBLY RUDE to the woman and the majority of the people in the restaurant were Native American. Without that population dining at their restaurant, Ming Garden would go under. I could not sit back and say nothing as I had a front row seat to the fiasco. I paid my bill and for the Native American womanâs lunch and told the cashier/staff who had been rude that she had been incredibly rude and disrespectful to her customer. Would NEVER patronize the place again based on how I witnessed they treat non-white customers and I would absolutely not eat there again because the food was straight up AWFUL!

Arrived late on a Friday to a pretty empty place. Overall, the service was very good/ friendly. The buffet looked tired, so we ordered off the menu. My wife's got chicken and rice. There was hardly any chicken, LOTS of rice. My stir fry seafood was meh. Spring rolls were just ok.
Not a lot of options in this little town, but you may just want to hit the chains instead of here.

Best ginger beef! Ever!
The server, took very long to take our order and get our drinks. He seems like he hates this job, he moped around and doesnât seem friendly. Does not realize his job is to serve, he seems intent on doing his own thing and doesnât care if the customers are waiting. Iâve eaten here for years and never had such a poor waiter. Almost makes me not want to come in here because of the long wait for service. Get another job if you donât like your job.

We had dinner there Monday, march 25 2024 and both my husband were violently sick about 3 in the morning. That was the only place we ate . Took 2 days to recoup.
Overall was good. Was worth the drive out from Lethbridge. Price of the buffet has changed to $20 per person. Understandably the cost of living has gone up and in Lethbridge. This price is standard for all buffets. Considering the quality of the food here. It was worth it. Loved the deep fried wontons and the deep fried spareribs.

This place rules! It's been a while since I've been here but got a chance last night and it's still good as ever! Thank you for the wontons!

Conflicted review here. Itâs really hit or miss whether it tastes fresh or not or what your chances of food poisoning are ? That being said, hit it at the right time and itâs actually pretty great for Chinese in soab
Iâm so happy to find a Chinese restaurant in this small town. And itâs really delicious. Thank you!
