Kamron has served me my meals for the past couple of days, and kept working hard all the time, kept my order correct and was always smiling... Now this place is quaint family owned restaurant, service is good, food is good and fairly priced, and the place is clean. It has easy access in and out and worth a trip out for a nice meal.

Waited 45+ minutes for my entrée that ended up being something that I didn’t order. Got a burned steak that I dint ask for… they didn’t even comp the meal that I didn’t eat.

We were in the area for a trip and stopped in two days in a row. It was such great service, food, and value, 10/10. Will be coming back next year when we are in the area for the trip again. Loved this place.

Celebrating a friend's and neighbours birthday. Very handy right on main street. Fish & chips were great and the burger too. We don't have enough of these family Restaurants any more.

First time eating here and was pleasantly surprised! You really never know what you are going to get in a dated small town diner. Sometimes they are hidden gems and sometimes they are horrible. In their case, I would call Harvest diner a hidden gem! Got the Greek burger and it was delicious. Fresh bun and ingredients, the tzatziki sauce tastes homemade and was fantastic, the fries were perfect and the poutine had real cheese curds which is always a huge win. My only recommendation is that they update their hours on google. We tried coming twice in one week when Google said they were open. The first time they were already closed and the second time we only had 15 minutes to order and had to take it to go when online it said they would be open for another hour.

The front staff/servers are super kind and very competent. The manager however, kills the vibes everytime. Take accountability when you burn the customers food.. still waiting for that phone call..

Restaurantji Recommends
Has eaten here once before. Service and food quality were average. Stopped in to eat on Saturday Jan 18, 2025. Service was none. Got our coffee and orange juice. Waited over 20 min to place our order. Another couple came in 20 minutes after us. They got their drinks right away. They placed their order within 3 minutes of sitting down. Their table was right beside ours. Waited another 2 min still no service. Got up paid for beverages. Would not recommend this place unless you have all day to order. I support all small businesses. I am a business owner myself. I eat in an average of 200 restaurants a year.

Very disappointed in the monte Carlo sandwich. Who puts cheddar cheese on a Monte Carlo. Did not taste good at all.

Terrible service after a long day fishing. Waited an hour for our food and then watched another table get their meal in 15 minutes. We obviously weren’t local and even the ladies at a table in front of us commented about the time! They felt sorry for us. We will never stop here again and will tell friends to avoid!!
Great little gem

The portions and flavour were great and waitress did her best to keep up despite a significant lunch crowd. My kids also enjoyed and my wife's dish - harvest scramble - was phenomenal. The atmosphere could have been improved in a simple way, however by not playing CBC news on the TV. It was so ironic how they were doing some feature story on traffic congestion in Toronto - not really what I needed as an accompaniment for some eggs in Caroline. Why not just leave the TV off or just put on nature scenes or something less distracting than all the negativity of CBC as well as their ads that are completely inappropropriate for kids? It is an alarming trend that so many restaurants, not just yours have TVs blaring all day. We come for the food and conversations. If anyone is desperate for screentime they can just pull out their own device.
I only share because I care and want to help communities and businesses thrive!
