We stopped in for lunch a week ago on our Sunday drive to new towns. We moved to the Province a year ago and now go for drives to discover new restaurants. The Green Island has great food and service and it’s also clean. I really appreciate that. We had the beef Foo Yong and the sauce that came with it was fabulous. Good portion size as well I highly recommend going to Castor and getting your own experience.

Vegetarian options: When we mentioned that our vegetarian also had sea food allergies. We were informed that the meal was made with oyster sauce, which they omitted. My friend was delighted with the replacement sauce on her meal.
Older Chinese restaurant that was close for sometime. New owners took over from Calgary. I believe their kids run around there quite a bit. Food is decent. Prices are decent and the owners are very friendly.
